It may feel like the 2026-2027 broadcast season just started — because it did! — but already there has been at least one season finale, and we know the dates for several others.

Most of this year’s fall shows premiered in September and October, but with some having shorter seasons, a few are ending before the new year. In fact, R.J. Decker Season 2 already aired its finale (October 27), since it was only seven episodes this year. ABC has also already dated the Scrubs finale for December — which actually isn’t too surprising, given the network is putting The Rookie and its new spinoff, The Rookie: North, on Wednesdays beginning on January 6, 2027. Plus, we know the finales for a couple of competition series, Dancing With the Stars and The Voice, though those are to be expected; those shows usually only air a season across half a year.

But there are also some shows that have shorter episode orders than previous seasons that we know will be ending before the usual April or May of the broadcast year. For example, NCIS: Origins Season 3 will only be 10 episodes (and the fourth just aired), while Fire Country Season 5 consists of 13 (with the fourth on October 30). But CBS has yet to set midseason finale or premiere dates, so we don’t know quite yet when those season-enders might fall.

Read on for all the season — and possible series for some, as networks plan their 2027-2028 schedules — finale dates we know across the broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, Fox, and NBC), and bookmark this page because it will be updated as more are announced.
