9-1-1 star Jennifer Love Hewitt tapped into her musical side on Monday (October 26), treating fans to a “breathtaking” cover of Selena Gomez‘s 2019 hit “Lose You To Love Me.”
The 47-year-old actress shared the video on Instagram, showing her singing into the camera. “I have always loved this song,” she captioned the post. “And I love you @selenagomez Long day at work today and singing always makes me feel centered and ready.”
Hewitt began her career performing music, singing backing vocals on Martika’s number-one track “Toy Soldiers” in 1989 before releasing her Japan-exclusive debut studio album, Love Songs, in 1992 at age 12. She later signed with Atlantic Records and released two more albums, Let’s Go Bang (1995) and a self-titled record in 1996.
After both albums failed to chart, the Ghost Whisperer alum was dropped from her label and didn’t return to music until 1999, when she landed her first charting single with “How Do I Deal.” She was subsequently signed to Jive Records and released her fourth and final album, BareNaked.

“This was beautiful,” said one commenter.
