Before Ryan Seacrest was a host, he was a brother. The Wheel of Fortune host shared a touching tribute to his only sibling — his sister, Meredith — who celebrated her birthday.

“Met my best friend at age 6, and look at us now. Happy birthday @mmseacrest. Forever my little sis,” he captioned the Instagram post on October 25. Ryan and Meredith are the only two children born to Constance and the late Gary.

Meredith, 45, is the CEO and executive director of The Ryan Seacrest Foundation, a non-profit organization that builds multimedia broadcast studios in children’s hospitals. She is also a television producer. The siblings have written a children’s book together called The Make-Believers.

Ryan’s sister married Jim Leach in 2016, with the host serving as her “man of honor.” Meredith and Jim have one child together, a daughter named Flora.

The post was set to the song “Oh Child” by Kai Devega. The lyrics were “Oh child, oh child, oh child. Where have you gone?”

The first photo featured Ryan holding onto baby Meredith as he sat on his 1970s-style couch. He stuck his tongue out in a smile as he held his sister up to the camera.

The next picture was of a toddler-looking Meredith and Ryan as a child. Ryan had braces on in the black-and-white photo while Meredith smiled with her curly hair and bright white teeth.

An awkward teenage Ryan was featured in the next photo. He wore off-white pants and a white button-down shirt with a black leather jacket over it. Meredith wore a navy blue dress with a white fur coat and a matching white ribbon in her hair.

The last photo in the post was of the two of them grown up. Meredith appeared to have visited Ryan in his radio studio. They both clutched each other’s shoulders as they bared open-mouthed smiles.

“Thank God for Meredith!” Seacrest put on top of the photo.

“You’re a great brother!” one fan said.

“OMG! So sweet,” another commented.

“How sweet,” a third added.

“This is so cute,” a fan commented.

“Beautiful lady! Her daughter is her twin,” another commented.

“Adorable,” one last fan said. Other fans wished Meredith a happy birthday in the comments.
