CNN anchor Anderson Cooper nicknamed Donald Trump the “assman-in-chief” on Wednesday night (October 22) after the president continued to admire the behind of Sen. Jon Husted.

Cooper began the segment with a clip from Seinfeld in which Kramer accidentally gets a license plate from the DMV that reads “ASSMAN.” The host joked, “Well, big news for Kramer tonight. He is no longer New York’s most famous assman.”

He continued, “Erstwhile Manhattanite and derriere aficionado, President Donald J. Trump, whose approval rating, according to a new CNN poll, is currently at a bouncy 32% thanks to all his political junk in the trunk, is once again making sure voters know that, as far as he’s concerned, Ohio junior Senator Jon Husted is an unmitigated smoke show.”

Cooper aired a clip from a Republican rally in Greenville, North Carolina, on Tuesday (October 20), where Trump fixated on Husted’s body. “So he’s over here. I’m over here, and I’m studying his body. I’ve never studied the body of a man before. It’s not my thing. Nothing wrong with it, of course,” Trump said. “I always precede it by saying, ‘Nothing wrong,’ but it’s never been my thing, to be honest with you.”

This came just days after a rally in Kentucky where the president said of Husted, “I looked, and I watched up and down. I looked at his ass and I looked at the whole… and then I looked at his hands. Look at his hands. He’s got these, like, claws. And I got it. You are a great athlete.”

“The assman-in-chief says his fixation with Ohio’s second-highest ranking senatorial’s caboose is just a one-off,” Cooper added. “‘It’s never been my thing,’ you heard him say. But, and I do emphasize but, the beauty of the male form is not exactly forbidden fruit for him.”

Cooper then played a montage of Trump praising men’s bodies, including more comments about Husted, Georgia Republican Rep. Mike Collins, Montana Republican Sen. Tim Sheehy, New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart, Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker, and former pro golfer Arnold Palmer.

“I don’t know if the sound you heard is Arnold Palmer turning in his grave… or Jon Husted giving back his key to the locker room at Trump Doral,” Cooper quipped. “What I do know is that there’s nothing at all unusual, and certainly nothing gay, about a president who dances daily to “YMCA,” and who publicly pined for a reprise of Betty Buckley in Cats.”

Cooper ended the segment by showing a clip of Trump mocking him at a recent rally by constantly referring to him as “Alison Cooper.”

“He’s been workshopping that for weeks,” Cooper retorted before concluding, “As for Senator Husted, his ass may be hard, but his polling is soft.”
