‘Wheel of Fortune’ Fans Blast Contestant Who Lost $134,000 on ‘Easy’ Puzzle

"Wheel of Fortune" contestant Kerri Druckmiller's second game on October 16, 2026

Three Wheel of Fortune contestants returned to the stage to play again, but this time it was alongside NBA legends. Find out which team won.

On Friday, October 16, Kerri Druckmiller, who won $56,998, played with seven-time NBA champion Robert Horry. Mike Gonzalez won $70,850 and teamed up with five-time NBA champion Derek Fisher. The final team consisted of Summer Moore, who previously won $36,785. She played with three-time NBA champion James Worthy.

Gonzalez, a Knicks fan, tried to solve the first Fortune Frenzy, but got it wrong. In total, he solved one. Moore, fan of the Thunder, put her team in the lead when she solved two of them.

Moore solved “Championship Trophy” for the first puzzle. Since she was “on fire,” she put $13,750 in her bank. Gonzalez solved the “Same Name” puzzle — “Armored & Clown Car” — for $1,550.

In a round met with a lot of Bankrupts, Druckmiller, a lifelong Chicago Bulls fan, finally solved “Turtles and Trumpet Fish.” She won a trip to the Dominican Republic, putting her in the lead with $20,263.

During the Triple Toss-up, each team solved one, so they all put $2,000 in their banks. Moore solved “Buzzer Beater” for another $2,300.

Druckmiller solved the final puzzle — “Business Traveler” — putting $7,200 in their bank. This gave the game show contestant a final total of $29,463.

Gonzalez took home $5,000, giving him a two-day total of $75,850. Moore’s total was $18,050, making her two-game total $54,835.

Druckmiller won the NBA kickoff prize against the Celtics and Pistons. She gets courtside access, VIP treatment, and a photo at the announcements table. The package also includes a Detroit hotel stay. This gave her $94,701 so far.

She chose “Phrase” for her Bonus Round category. Wheel of Fortune gave her “R,S,T,L,N, and E.” Druckmiller rounded out her puzzle with “H,J,W, and O.”

The puzzle then looked like “J_ST  THE  _ _ _TS.” As the clock counted down, both Druckmiller and Horry couldn’t solve the puzzle. She said, “Just the…,” “Just the…” but couldn’t figure out the last word.

“Just the Facts” was the puzzle. There was $40,000 in the envelope, which would have given her a grand total of $134,701.

“How did she not get that? I thought she knew with the letters she was calling,” a Reddit user asked.

“I was yelling JUST THE FACTS at my TV,” another commented.

“Me three! This show isn’t great for my blood pressure,” a third added.
