See Sam Champion Bust a Move Backstage at ‘Good Morning America’

Sam Champion let loose backstage at Good Morning America.

Fans of the ABC morning show may remember Champion competing on Season 31 of Dancing With the Stars in 2022, with partner Cheryl Burke. In a Wednesday, October 14, Instagram video, Champion reminded fans of his dance skills during a funny backstage moment at GMA.

“A little GMA commercial dance break doesn’t hurt anybody,” he wrote alongside a clip of himself and associate producer Gabriella Marinelli dancing together during downtime on set. The clip ended with the duo bursting into laughter after spotting the colleague who was secretly filming them.

“Welcome to a commercial break in between segments of the show we’re busy with the research and the BOOGIE,” Champion added in the post’s caption.

Fans couldn’t get enough of the funny video in the post’s comments. “You’re bringing back your dance moves from Dancing With the Stars!!” one person wrote. Another added, “Morning cup of Sam…..you got to love him.”

Someone else shared, “Sam we can always count on you for a smile.” A different person posted, “This is the best! You must be so much fun to work with!!!!” A separate commenter stated, “Ok, if I could like this video a million times I would!! Love the positivity!! Made my day!”

In addition to sharing a backstage dance moment, Champion and his co-worker also team up for weekly “DWTS Draft” videos, sharing their predictions for that week’s episode of the ABC competition series.

“I’m just wondering if we get past this week because, you know, now you get to — are we at two dances a week?” he asked in the pair’s Tuesday, October 13, Instagram video. He continued, “That is when it becomes really tough for a non-dancer, because you’re not just memorizing that one dance. You’ve got to do two.”
