Erin Napier Gives Ben Napier a Sweet Shoutout Amid ‘Home Town’ Season 11 Filming

Erin Napier didn’t need a special occasion to celebrate how much she loves husband Ben Napier.

The couple became household names to HGTV viewers when their flagship series, Home Town, premiered in 2016. The series follows the Napiers as they revitalize old and run-down homes in their hometown of Laurel, Mississippi, and has launched spinoffs such as Home Town Takeover, Home Town Kickstart, and Home Town: Inn This Together.

Back in August, Erin confirmed on Instagram that production on the show’s upcoming 11th season was officially underway. As the couple continues to work on the series, Erin took to social media to share her appreciation for Ben’s hard work on and off the small screen.

“Blue collar and college educated. An artist, but also a mechanic. The biggest and strongest man in the room, who wrote his wife a love letter at 4:30 am,” she captioned the Tuesday, October 13, Instagram upload. “Staying up late reading Larry McMurtry, getting up early to plant butterfly bushes for his daughter who wants to hold a monarch in her hands. If we ever lost him, he would be 100% irreplaceable.”

She concluded the sweet message by writing, “There is not another man anything like him, and I think about this often.” Erin’s post featured a snap of Ben sporting a blue button-up shirt and beaded bracelets, seemingly made by the pair’s two kids on his wrist. (Erin and Ben, who wed in 2008, share daughters Helen and Mae.)

Fans gushed over Erin’s heartfelt tribute to Ben in the post’s comments. “Keep him close. I had a man like this and I lost him in April after 41 years. Cherish every minute,” one user wrote. Another added, “I hope you never have to find out what life would be like without him.”

Someone else shared, “You hit the lottery with that one!” A different person posted, “I enjoy how you write about him. I know he’s your one of a kind, and he sounds like my Scott who is my one and only. I don’t like to imagine a world without them.” A separate commenter said, “A treasure! I love how you love each other.”

HGTV's Erin Napier Shares Glimpse Into Family Fall Moments With Kids

Tuesday’s upload was one of several sweet Instagram posts Erin has shared about Ben in recent months. On September 24, Erin shared a snap of herself and Ben kissing to celebrate his 43rd birthday.

“I’m kissing the birthday boy today! @scotsman.co,” captioned the photo, which was taken by one of their daughters. “My GOSH how lucky we are that he was born! (35 mm by Helen).”

In a September 9 Instagram post, Erin praised Ben’s parenting skills, sharing a photo of him reading a book to their daughters. “Imagine having the best elementary history, Bible, math and poetry teacher ever who tells you stories about the world that make you want to go see them in real life while you listen to spaghetti western soundtracks and that’s homeschool with @scotsman.co,” Erin gushed.
