For the first time since Milania Giudice was caught in a heated confrontation with mom Teresa Giudice last month, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star is speaking out about the state of her mental health. Milania confirmed she’s currently getting treatment and revealed multiple mental health diagnoses in a video posted to Instagram on October 12.
“I want to publicly apologize because I don’t think I have been using my platform the way I want to use it,” Milania began. “Since I was a little kid, I told my family and my parents that I want to help people in life and that’s what I want to do. I want to help people and I want to spread awareness and share my story the way I want it to be shared.”
She continued, “Social media is like an onion. You see layers of people’s lives. You guys have been seeing the worst times of my life. And it has been the worst time of my life. I do struggle with mental health issues. I am bipolar, I struggle with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and ADHD.”

In May, Milania was arrested, charged with one count of simple assault, and ordered to take anger management classes. Two months later, her best friend, Victoria Zardoya, died after she “sustained fatal injuries due to a devastating fall” in Tampa, Florida.
“I am not ashamed of my mental health disorders because I am currently in a treatment center,” Milania shared. “My mom’s actually on her way to come visit me today. I do work on myself. But I am only 20 years old and this summer hit me like a bus. A lot of things happened in a short amount of time. I’m trying to just process everything and it’s really hard being in the public light while you go through things in life.”
She concluded, “I just want to say I’m sorry because I was grown up on pure respect [and] love and I just haven’t been showing the Milania that I want to show and I want to do better. I’m going to continue working on myself and trying to completely change everything that I’ve been posting and everything because I want to help people in life.”
