Will ‘The Creep Tapes’ Return for Season 4?
The Creep Tapes Season 3 has wrapped, but has the Creep (Mark Duplass) made his final tape?
The latest season of the cringe-horror series went deeper than ever into the increasingly bizarre lore surrounding the Creep and his furry, fiendish alter ego, Peachfuzz. Fans learned more about the origins of the Peachfuzz mask, got to see one of the earliest tapes in the series’ timeline, and heard the Creep explore his complicated relationship with Peachfuzz and his first encounters with the alter ego.
Season 3 also offered more glimpses into the Creep’s past while continuing to leave viewers guessing about how much of what he says can actually be believed. And even after digging further into his history, there are still plenty of unanswered questions, missing pieces in the timeline, and potentially many more tapes waiting to be uncovered.
So, will The Creep Tapes return for Season 4 and give fans another round of deeply uncomfortable encounters? Here’s everything we know about the show’s future.

Will there be a The Creep Tapes Season 4?
Cocreators Mark Duplass and Patrick Brice have noted that a planned third feature film, Creep 3, is in the works to eventually close out the franchise, but a fourth season of the anthology series remains unconfirmed.
Because the show operates on a low budget and high fan engagement on social media, future renewals remain possible, but there is no official greenlight for Season 4 yet. But for creators Mark Duplass and Patrick Brice, they are on board for more. “I hope I get to make the show until I’m 100 years old,” he told People.
What is The Creep Tapes about?
The Creep Tapes expands the Creep films into an episodic found-footage dark comedy series starring Mark Duplass. Each installment pulls another disturbing recording from the killer’s collection, revealing a new victim and another unsettling encounter.

How did The Creep Tapes Season 3 end?
Warning: Spoilers ahead for The Creep Tapes Season 3 Episode 6. The Creep Tapes Season 3 finale, “Jody + Brie,” turns back the clock to reveal a disturbing chapter from the Creep’s teen years and the beginnings of Peachfuzz. As a teenager still going by Archie, he spends time in the woods with his friends Jody and Brie, supposedly making a movie together. But the outing takes a much darker turn when Archie gets his hands on Brie’s mask and begins altering it, creating what will become the earliest version of the now-infamous Peachfuzz wolf mask.
Jody eventually realizes something isn’t right and confronts Archie, leading to a violent struggle that ends with Archie brutally killing him as Brie records what is happening. Archie then puts on his newly created mask and turns his attention to a terrified Brie, calmly instructing her on how to explain Jody’s death and promising that he will disappear from her life for good. Before leaving, he gives her a heart-shaped locket, connecting this early moment in Archie’s life to objects and mythology that have surfaced elsewhere in the Creep franchise. The finale closes on an unsettling final image of Brie staring directly into the camera and screaming.
