‘All American’ Star Monet Mazur Fends Off 3 Masked Burglars in Hollywood Hills Home

Actress Monet Mazur confronted three masked burglary suspects at her Hollywood Hills home on Saturday night (September 26) after she spotted them attempting to break into her property on security cameras.

According to the New York Post, the All American star was inside the home with her dog at around 11:30 pm when she saw three individuals in black clothing and ski masks approaching the property. Mazur reportedly went outside to confront the suspects, prompting the trio to flee the scene when they realized someone was at the residence.

The Los Angeles Police Department was called to Mazur’s Hollywood Hills home and searched the surrounding area. A helicopter was also spotted searching the nearby hillsides. The suspects weren’t found.

Footage from the scene showed Mazur outside her home with her dog as LAPD officers investigated, per the NY Post. Pepper spray was also visible on the outside doormat. According to property information in the incident report, Mazur lives in a two-bedroom property worth around $1.5 million.

The 50-year-old actress is best known for playing Laura Fine-Baker on the CW football drama All American. She starred as a main cast member across the first six seasons before returning as a special guest for seasons seven and eight.

The former model is the daughter of artist Ruby Mazur, who created the cover art for over 3,000 albums for artists including The Rolling Stones, B.B. King, Sarah Vaughn, Elton John, and Ray Charles.

Hollywood Hills burglaries have increased in recent years. Last June, a group scaled the security fence of Brad Pitt‘s $5.5 million Steel House while he was away overseas and escaped with valuable items. Other recent targets include the homes of Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, baseball star Yoshinobu Yamamoto, and soccer star Olivier Giroud.
