He was too stunned to speak! Wheel of Fortune host Ryan Seacrest was left in silence after being confused by teen slang. He turned to Vanna White to see if she knew what it meant, but she just shrugged.

Kim Fields-Pendleton, from Rahway, New Jersey, played against Liz Hawkins, from Mequon, Wisconsin, and Lee Carrigan, from Rockton, Illinois, on September 18. Fields-Pendleton, who has a competition with her husband on who can cook the best and make the bed the best, solved three Fortune Frenzy puzzles while Carrigan, a U.S. Postal carrier, solved one.

Fields-Pendleton solved “Fantastic Fabulous Freckles” for $7,600. She also obtained the Wild Card for that round.

Despite Hawkins, a woman who met her husband through her mom at church, solving most of the letters, Fields-Pendleton solved “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” for $12,100.

Fields-Pendleton won a trip to Bali when she solved “You Won’t Want to Go Home!” This gave her a total of $27,819.

She solved two of the three Triple Toss-ups while Carrigan solved one. Carrigan ended the game with $6,000 when he solved the final puzzle — “I Believe in Miracles.” Wheel of Fortune gave Hawkins $1,000 since she didn’t win any money.

Fields-Pendleton won $31,819 and advanced to the Bonus Round. She chose “Food & Drink” for her category.

The contestant brought her son and husband with her to cheer her on. Seacrest said that her son has a special teen vocabulary. When he asked the teen what larping meant, he replied, “It’s like glazing something.”

Seacrest turned to White and asked, “Do you know what glazing means?” She shrugged. “You don’t know either,” he said. “Ok.” This caused the audience to crack up.

“‘Do you know what larping is?’ ‘It’s like…glazing something’ Ryan and Vanna stare in silence,” a Reddit user said.

The game show gave her “R,S,T,L,N, and E.” She rounded out her puzzle with “C,D,G,H, and A.”

Her puzzle then looked like “_ _ ART  _ _   _H_LE   _ _L_.” Before the clock could even count down, Fields-Pembleton solved “Quart of Whole Milk.” She added $45,000 to her total, which gave her $76,819.

At the end of the show, Seacrest looked up “larping.” He read it out as “Acting like a poser, a try-hard. Pretending to have a lifestyle that isn’t real. All of us on TV,” he laughed.
