Is ‘Lioness’ Returning for Season 4?

Lioness is on the home stretch of its third season, which saw Joe McNamara (Zoe Saldaña) in very deep trouble after being abducted outside of her home in Washington, D.C. Throughout the season, the timeline shifted back and forth between the first domestic attack on the task force leader and the one that proved successful, all while her dutiful QRF team members tried to rescue her under orders and guidance from the leaders, Edwin Mullins (Morgan Freeman), Kaithlyn Meade (Nicole Kidman), and Byron Westfield (Michael Kelly).

Ahead of what is deemed to be a “cliffhanger” Season 3 finale, fans might be wondering about the future of the show, so here’s what we know about Lioness Season 4 so far.

Is Lioness renewed for Season 4?

Not yet. Paramount+ has not officially announced a renewal for the series. However, the Taylor Sheridan-verse show is one of the most prestigious on the streamer, so chances are, it is just a matter of time until the series gets a green light for another round.

What will Lioness Season 4 be about?

We still have to wait until the Season 3 finale to find out where the QRF team will be left, after successfully rescuing Joe in the penultimate episode of the season and then setting out to find out who was responsible for her abduction and get revenge. However, we have no doubt that Season 4 will continue to follow the covert CIA task force in their next adventure, as they target some of the biggest threats to the nation under the radar using their Lioness foot soldiers.
