Jimmy Kimmel Uses Usha Vance’s Diaper Bank Ad to Mock Trump

Jimmy Kimmel and his team used some tricksy editing on Second Lady Usha Vance’s diaper bank awareness ad to poke fun at President Donald Trump on Wednesday night (September 16).

On Wednesday’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the late-night host aired a doctored version of the ad, in which Usha urges people to pitch in and help support the National Diaper Bank Network. However, Kimmel’s version included Usha comparing her newborn child to the 80-year-old president.

“Hello everyone. I’m so honored to partner with the National Diaper Bank Network during National Diaper Need Awareness Week,” Usha said in the edited clip. “Our fourth baby is just a few weeks old, and our president just turned 80 a few months ago. Both of these busy guys go through a lot of diapers. And when they have tantrums, it can be worse.”

The video included shots of Trump ranting at reporters, as well as close-ups of his behind. “No one wants to be around a messy baby or a poopy president,” the altered Usha continued. “By providing diapers and wipes, diaper banks relieve financial stress, improve babies’ health and comfort, and help America’s oldest president evacuate his bowels so he can get some sleep. What a cutie.”

“Your work gives every baby and every family a chance to thrive, and keeps President Trump dry all day,” she concludes before adding, “JD, get off the couch and change your f***ing boss.”

The actual video was released earlier this week and doesn’t mention Trump at all. Usha and Vice President JD Vance welcomed their fourth child, Alec Neel Vance, on July 19. The couple also share sons Ewan and Vivek and daughter Mirabel.

Elsewhere in his monologue, Kimmel touched on Trump’s pledge to give $5,000 to every adult American if the Republicans hold the Senate and the House in the November midterms.

“He’s trying every trick to try to steal [the election] himself,” Kimmel said. “The Supreme Court foiled his plan to stop mail-in voting. So, now he’s offering $5,000 to every adult if the Republicans win, only if they win, which is crazy. Also crazy: The idea that he would give us our own money as some kind of a gift.”

The comedian added that most people who didn’t vote for Trump in the 2024 presidential election “assumed he would be even worse the second time around, but even I had no idea he would be this bad.”
