Jimmy Kimmel Points Out the ‘Craziest Thing’ About Trump

Jimmy Kimmel said there are a lot of “craziest things” about Donald Trump, but he’s landed on the “craziest thing” of all after the president’s recent attack on a Reuters reporter.

“Last week, you probably know, Trump went after a reporter who asked a question he didn’t like,” the late-night host said on Monday’s (November 2) edition of Jimmy Kimmel Live! “He told him to ‘put himself in shape’ and that he ‘looked like hell.’ It was embarrassing… it was an ugly moment.”

Kimmel was referencing Trump’s attack on Reuters reporter Jacob Bogage last week, who asked the president if he wasn’t going to Kansas because he was “sick of travel.”

“You’re sick to ask that question. You are sick,” Trump replied. “I don’t feel I have to go to Kansas… I feel perfect…. You are disgusting. Put yourself in shape. You look like hell!”

Kimmel said you’d think Trump would want to move past it, “especially given his own body type, but you would be incorrect to think that. Instead, he went on his dumb website, and he did it again.”

On Saturday (October 31), the president posted a photo of Bogage on his Truth Social website, captioned “Put yourself in shape. You look like hell!” Alongside the pic, Trump wrote, “Reuters (One of the Worst!) Reporter.”

“First of all, no one says, ‘Put yourself in shape,'” Kimmel said. “That sounds like something Melania yells at him when he eats French fries. And also, that person you’re looking at right there should not be telling anyone else to put themselves in shape.”

Kimmel then replaced the photo of Bogage with an unflattering image of the president with his trousers pulled high above the waist.

“I think, maybe… I mean, there are so many ‘craziest things’ about him. I think maybe the craziest thing about Donald Trump is he thinks he’s hot,” Kimmel added. “He does!”

Later in the monologue, Kimmel mocked Trump’s Halloween party at Mar-a-Lago. Noting the age of most of the guests, the comedian quipped, “It was like Eyes Wide Shut for people you’d have to keep your eyes shut to have sex with. Look at this group, everyone is dressed as osteoporosis.”

“Melania went dressed as the Invisible Woman… she didn’t show up,” Kimmel joked.
