‘Let’s Make a Deal’: See How New Game ‘Cash Course’ Works on Season 18 Premiere

Let’s Make a Deal is debuting a new game called Cash Course, where contestants can win up to $10,000. See how the game works in an exclusive clip of the game show‘s Season 18 premiere.

Cash Course is a ball-rolling obstacle course where Traders line up green and gold balls on a custom-designed course for a guaranteed chance to win big cash, with the opportunity to take home a grand prize of $10,000 – but look out for the spinning duck, stone toad, and the octopus! 

In the first clip obtained by TV Insider, host Wayne Brady walks out from behind the stage and welcomes everyone to Season 18. The contestants fill the seats dressed in wacky costumes.

“18 seasons, baby,” Brady said. “Today, to celebrate, we are debuting a brand-new game. I’m so excited. It’s called Cash Course, so you’re going to tune in anyway, but tell your momma, tell your friends to tune in to see Cash Course.”

The second clip features a woman named Big Mills. She’s dressed as a fortune teller, but can she predict how her game will turn out?

“It’s a race,” Brady explained. “The first race you’re going to win guaranteed money.”

Model Tiffany Coyne brought a rack of green and gold balls to the stage. “If a green ball wins the race, you will win $1,000,” the host said. “If the gold ball wins the race, you win $2,000. You cannot lose.”

The contestant then have to place the balls in any order they want on the starting line. While the game seems simple, spinning ducks and toads block the balls on their way down. They pull the handle to begin the race, and then let fate take over.

“Even if a ball gets stuck, the race will continue, no matter what,” Brady said.

The green ball landed at the finish line first, so Big Mills won $1,000. She could choose to take her money and walk away or continue on with the next round. This one had green and red balls. If a green ball crosses the finish line first, the contestant doubles their money. However, if a red ball finishes first, they leave with nothing.

If Big Mills decides to stay and doubles her money, she gets the chance to play for $10,000. Tune in to the season premiere on September 21 to find out what decision she makes and to see how Cash Course plays out.

Season 18 will mark Brady’s 3,000th episode as host. It will be commemorated with a special episode in January 2027, with more details to be announced later.
