  • Ugliest House in America isn’t the only HGTV show currently holding open casting calls.

Alison Victoria is keeping busy with her lineup of HGTV projects.

The TV personality currently stars on several of the network’s home renovation shows, including Ugliest House in America and Scariest House in America. Her Las Vegas-set Windy City Rehab spinoff, Sin City Rehab, returns for its second season on Wednesday, October 7.

Ugliest House in America just wrapped up its eighth season on August 24. The series follows host Retta as she tours some of the country’s wildest and wackiest homes. The property chosen as the “ugliest” of them all receives a showstopping makeover from Victoria and her team.

“[I] know I say it every time…but I mean it THIS time… This Miami mess became one of my favorite transformations EVER…and possibly the best kitchen I’ve ever designed for the Ugliest House in America!” Victoria captioned photos of the Season 8 finale’s home transformation via Instagram on August 27.

Victoria teased that Ugliest House in America will return for another season by reposting an Instagram casting call notice via her Instagram Story on Wednesday, September 2.

“Guess what – guess what- guess what! I’ve been asked to help with the hunt for the glorious HGTV’s Ugliest House in America show that is now casting in ALL 50 states!” read the post‘s caption, shared by Christina Calisi Casting. “Do you or someone you know live in the UGLIEST, ONE-OF-A-KIND, MOST UNBELIEVABLE house in America?? Is your home decor and layout screaming out for help??? Want a chance at a $150,000 renovation?! Apply Now! UgliestHouseInAmerica.CastingCrane.com.”

HGTV also shared the casting call via their website, writing, “Do you live in the wildest, ugliest, and most unbelievably weird home in town? Does your house feature clashing patterns, a confusing layout, strange add-ons, or design choices that just don’t make sense? We’re not looking for simple fixes — we want the most outlandish, head-scratching homes in America. The winner receives a $150,000 renovation to transform their home from a dysfunctional eyesore into a stylish, functional space.”

Per the casting call, applicants must share why their home is one of the ugliest in the country, share what renovations it’s undergone over the years, and what parts of the property need the most work.

Ugliest House in America isn’t the only HGTV show currently holding an open casting call. Last month, Scott McGillivray announced that he is casting for an upcoming unnamed HGTV series.

“Whether it’s an unfinished basement, an underused garage, a laneway, an attic, or another overlooked opportunity, guess what? I’m gonna help you unlock its income potential and make your property work harder than ever,” he said in an August 6 Instagram video. “And you’re not sure where to start? Then I’m here for you. Check out the link in bio and apply today.”
