‘Bold and the Beautiful’ Fall 2026 Preview: Katie vs. Brooke, the Steffy-Carter Secret & More
Fall Preview
The Bold and the Beautiful is gearing up for a heated rivalry this fall as tensions between Forrester Creations and upstart Logan Designs reach a boiling point.
“The war between the fashion houses is going to hit new levels of drama this fall, and it’s going to be a fun watch,” says executive producer and head writer Bradley Bell. “It’s Team Katie versus Team Brooke and the battle of the sisters is going to reach new heights.”
And Bell promises the story won’t end when the leaves stop falling. The seeds being planted now will bear fruit in March 2027, when the show celebrates its 40th anniversary. “We’ve been thinking about [the milestone], and it will come with an ultimate payoff between these two fashion houses with a shocking twist for the 40th,” teases Bell.
Here, Bell previews the biggest stories happening in Los Angeles this autumn.

Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom)
“The battle is going on between two sisters, and Brooke is at the core of it all. Not only has Hope [Logan Spencer, Annika Noelle] left the company, but she’s moved out of the house with Liam [Spencer, Scott Clifton], and it just left a gaping hole in Brooke’s heart. Katie is the mouse that roared, and Heather Tom always delivers, but we had no idea about the vocal cords this mouse has because she’s really letting loose and taking on the fashion giant with her startup and doing incredibly well. The kind of forgotten youngest sister of the Logan group is now flexing her muscles and showing the world what she can do, and as she continues to succeed, she’s going to make some future moves this fall that continue to be controversial. Katie has all of this intellect and momentum and energy, but we’ll wonder if she’s going too far, and certainly Brooke will think she’s going too far with the next move she’s going to make. Brooke is going to have a story of her own that will have some major consequences.”
The Forresters
“For the first time in the history of the show, the Forresters have had punches to the head, and they’re really reeling from it to a point where they’re going to show some financial concerns and concerns for the future of the company, the existence of Forrester.”
The Spencers
“The Spencer family takes center stage, with Hope and Liam and Wyatt [Spencer, Darin Brooks] and Will [Spencer, Crew Morrow] and Bill [Spencer, Don Diamont]. A point of contention will be [Melissa] Dylan [Sydney Bullock] because Dylan and Will are going to get closer, and as we know, Katie knows nothing about this woman and who she is, so she’s going to want to meet her mother. What’s the best way to get to know someone? Meet the family, so Darcy Dillon is in town, and Kelly Sullivan, who’s a great actress, will really round out the character of Dylan. We’ll find out much more about her, and we’ll see that her mother is a charming change of pace and a wonderful addition to the show. Katie’s going to keep a sharp eye on them and really have trouble accepting them, at least at the onset.”

Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) and R.J. Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti)
“Well, Electra and R.J. are really buckling down at Forrester Creations. It’s all hands on deck, and they’re going to do what they can to continue to support Team Forrester and keep the company going, make it a success and make sure that the future is bright. Electra’s first love was Will, and she and R.J. are developing a great relationship through business, but there will always be a part of her that longs for Will. We’re also going to learn more about Electra and meet some more of her family coming up.”
Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor), and Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire)
“I’m kind of keeping this story close to the vest. The night [where Steffy and Carter spent the night together] happened. It all started with Sheila’s [Carter, Kimberlin Brown] foot and one delayed flight and the next thing you know, it hit the fan. But they were two lonely hearts who felt like they were at the end of their ropes and heartbroken and a little tipsy and they had a night that was unexpected. And through all that, there will be a great rollout. They have a secret, and you know how long secrets last. Sometimes in soaps, they can go from days to months to years, and we’ll see how that rolls out in the months and years ahead.”

Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig), Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) and Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown)
“Deacon recently proposed to Taylor, and she didn’t accept the proposal. It doesn’t speak to her love for him. She loves him so much, but the complications are about Sheila being his ex-wife and how Steffy feels about it. Taylor leads with her brain and her logic, and as much as her heart wanted to commit to Deacon for the rest of her life, her mind won out, and she made the decision, ‘Why do we need to get married? We have everything we want, we’re at a certain point in life, and if it’s going to cause problems for our kids, the kids are the most important thing.’ Over time, it’s going to bother Deacon. Sheila has her flaws, but he left her for what he thought was going to be a wedding with Taylor, so he’s going to have a hard time with this, and he’s going to continue to hope for a marriage. Sheila is still in love with Deacon, and she’s going to look at this through new eyes and wonder if Taylor was really worthy of splitting up their marriage. She wasn’t intending on being Deacon’s ex-wife, so Sheila’s still in the game with her desire to be with Deacon, but also with her desire to be accepted by Steffy and be a grandmother to Hayes [Finnegan]. The most important thing in her life is to have the family around her. Sheila’s not always good at taking no for an answer, so she’s going to play heavily into the fall.”
Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone)
“Deke has this opportunity at Logan, and they’re all determined to make this Logan line a success for the future. And there’s another man who’s going to enter Deke’s life.”
