What's Worth Watching: A Dynasty Goes Boom at the Super Bowl?

Rob Moynihan

Super Bowl XLIX (Sunday, February 1, 6/5c, NBC)

The NFL's best head west as defending champs the Seattle Seahawks take on quarterback Tom Brady and the New England Patriots in Glendale, Arizona. Led by cornerback Richard Sherman and a defense known as the Legion of Boom, the Seahawks are looking to become the first back-to-back Super Bowl winners since the Patriots in 2004 and 2005. Brady and the Patriots are hoping to put the Deflategate scandal from their AFC Championship game win against the Indianapolis Colts behind them as they try for their fourth title since 2002. If the game itself isn't your thing, stick around for a halftime show headlined by Katy Perry or tune in for the buzzworthy commercials commanding around $4.5 million per 30-second spot. Game on!
