Ben Napier Gets Sentimental While Sharing New Pic of His & Erin Napier’s Kids

School may have started for Erin and Ben Napier‘s kids, but the family is still soaking up every last minute of summer together.

Ben took a trip down memory lane while sharing a new photo of Erin with their two daughters, Helen and Mae, on Instagram on Monday, August 31. “I used to walk these streets with you, I still do, but now there’s 3,” he wrote alongside the snap, which he snapped from behind as his wife and kids walked down a picturesque street in St. Augustine, Florida.

Fans gushed over the sweet family photo in the post’s comments. “We went here after you and @erinapier told us to add it to our honeymoon road trip. Best advice! Thank you! Loved St Augustine. Would love to take our kids back like this someday too,” one user wrote. Another added, “Those girls have grown up so fast. I see them and think that can’t be they should still be toddlers.”

Someone else shared, “Sometimes when I see these absolutely adorable pics I remember when Erin was about to become a mama and the transparency she had about the anticipation and anxieties of it. And seeing this what a complete ROCK STAR Mama she is. It just makes my heart happy.”

A different person posted, “I think Helen is going to be a tall girl she looks like she’s going to pass her mom up pretty pretty soon.” A separate commenter stated, “Beautiful city! Your girls are getting so tall!”

Erin and Ben tied the knot in 2008 and launched their flagship HGTV series, Home Town, in 2016. The couple became parents with the birth of Helen in 2018, followed by Mae in 2021.

While Ben shared a photo from the family’s recent Florida trip, Erin took to Instagram to share a fun snap once they got home to Mississippi. “Just got home from St. Augustine with my @idamaehome collection of luggage!” she wrote alongside a photo of duffel bags she designed for Ida Mae Home. “Can you guess which one I designed for me, Mae and Helen?

Last week, Erin got emotional while reflecting on Helen beginning her sixth year of dance class. “Six years of first day of ballet, same little bag,” she captioned then-and-now photos of Helen with her monogrammed dance bag on August 25. (The photos did not feature Helen’s face, as Erin and Ben refrain from showing their kids’ faces in social media posts.)

Earlier in August, Erin posted more snaps of the family’s end-of-summer activities, revealing that Helen and Mae had begun homeschooling for the year. “August weather is gonna try to kill us next week, so let’s look at the pleasanter moments, shall we? School in a barn, supersonic sissies, August birthdays at work, I CAN BRAID!!!! Picnic read-aloud, etc.,” she wrote.

The pics included sweet photos of one of the kids reading a book and doing schoolwork at their desk with their dog by their side. Other snaps included Helen and Mae’s school assignments and drawings, Erin braiding one of the girls’ hair, the kid snuggling on the couch together, and enjoying an outdoor family picnic.
