There were nothing but tears on Big Brother when Mallory Aurichio left the house. After she was renominated due to the Power of Veto, Mallory lost it when she was put up by her new alliance member, Survivor‘s Dee Valladares.

Mallory was put up on the block by Dee in week one as well. However, as an initial nominee, she had the chance to win the veto, and that’s exactly what she did.

Throughout the game, the rocket scientist aligned herself with Melody Morris and Lyric Medeiros, forming the Giggle Girls. Then, in week three, Mallory won the Blockbuster, securing her safety for another week.

Week five came along, and she was voted by America to enter the Timecapsule. Unfortunately, she got the Adam & Eve punishment, in which she had to wear leaf clothing and be tied to another Houseguest for 48 hours. She chose Melody to do this with.

When week seven came along, Mallory thought she was good when Dee won HOH since they formed the Moshpit alliance with Rick Devens, Angela Murray, Drew Campbell, Melody, and Barrett Pfeiffer. However, when Dee’s initial nominee, LaTrice Verrett, won the Veto and took herself off the block, Dee had a decision to make.

She couldn’t put up Yash Patel since she used her BB Bribe on him and promised him safety in exchange for her safety. Dee didn’t want to put up Haley Thogmartin since Haley wouldn’t put her up. This only left the members of the Moshpit.

Dee decided to put Mallory up, despite Barrett and Drew’s protests. Mallory was understandably angry. When Drew won the Blockbuster against Mallory and Taylor Brown, Mallory was evicted in a six-to-two vote.

Here’s what Mallory Aurichio had to say about her time in the house, her fellow Houseguests, and more.

TV Insider: How are you doing?

Mallory Aurichio: I’m good. I’m good.

Sadly, you were evicted in a six-to-two vote, with only Melody and Barrett voting to keep you. Did any of the votes surprise you?

I was really hoping Drew would vote to keep me, but I was not surprised. I had kind of known that he wasn’t going to vote to keep me. I thought maybe Yash would. I think he would have done it if the numbers were there. But I mean, who knows? I wasn’t shocked.

When the Most Pit alliance was formed last week. Did you think it was going to be a true alliance to the end?

Not at all. I did think it would last more than a week, but I did not think it was going to be ’til final seven, like they were saying.

So, did you throw the HOH because you thought you were safe with Dee, or did you just mess up the competition?

I didn’t throw it fully. I went into it knowing I wouldn’t know what I would do if I won, but I wanted to try. I was like, “Try your best and just see what happens.” And then at the end, I saw that our times were close, and I was thinking about how I wouldn’t know what to do if I won, and I choked a little.

Do you think that if you had won the Blockbuster and Drew was still on the block that you would have voted him out?

Yeah.

Do you think you were more betrayed by Dee or Drew?

I do feel a little bit more betrayed by Drew, but I do believe that if I could have stayed, I think Drew would have done it. I’m not sure, but I mean, Dee is the one who had the most hand in me leaving, obviously. But I do think Drew owed me more loyalty than he gave me.

You seemed very close to both Melody and Barrett. If you had made it to the final three with them, who would you have taken to the final two with you?

I mean, it depends. It would just depend on who I thought I’d have a better chance of beating. As of right now, I think I would have a better chance of beating Melody just because Barrett has so many more friends in there. He’s closer to the icons than me, but it would just depend on who I thought made more game moves and won more competitions and stuff.

How did it feel to be voted into the Timecapsule despite getting a punishment?

That was so exciting to be voted into it. I had no idea that that was going to happen. I had no idea that people were out there voting for me and enjoying watching me play. So, it was one of the most exciting moments to be voted into it. I was so bummed I got a punishment, and of course, now, I really wish I had some cool power. Of course, Devens and Dee got the powers, so that would have been awesome. But it was really cool to be voted there.

Did you have any idea before Devens used his Diamond Power of Veto that he had it?

Yes. I didn’t know he had the Diamond Power of Veto, but I had assumed Devens and Dee were going to get the powers after Angela.

Do you think he made a good move using it on Dee, or should he have saved it for himself?

I personally would have saved it for myself, but I don’t know when his power is going to expire, and if it expired at jury, it seems like he made a good move because I’ve heard there’s some twists going on right now that someone’s going to leave with no veto, no nothing, and he wasn’t on the block this week, and he got Kamu [Kirk] out, and Kamu was a good competitor that was going to come for him. So it’s not a move that I would have been willing to take because I would have wanted to save it for myself. But I think it was a good move.

When you found out about Dee’s power and that she made a deal with Yash, did you know she also made a deal to keep Devens and Angela safe?

No.

She said, “If you keep me, Angela, and Devens s safe when you win HOH, we won’t put you up.

I hope he doesn’t stay true to that.

So, that’s why he wasn’t on the block this week.

I mean, I figured there was some type of deal going on. I didn’t know that Yash said he would keep all icons safe, but I’m hoping that Yash made that deal just because he might not win HOH, and then if he does, I really hope he doesn’t stay true to it because I don’t know who he would put up.

I think you might be the only Houseguest to have this, don’t quote me on it, but how did it feel to not only walk out to all BB alum in the audience, but also get a standing ovation from them?

That was so awesome. If there’s a way to go, that’s the way to go. It was surreal to see all my favorite players there, and they knew who I was cheering for me. It was really awesome.

At this point in the game, who do you think is in the best position to win?

Yash is in a pretty good position as long as he doesn’t stay true to that deal. Devens is really smart. He’s a really good game player. If he makes it to the final two, I think he will win, but I think he’s put kind of a big target on him. So who knows if that will eventually get him, but yeah, I hope Melody or Barrett win. Can I say who’s in the worst position?

Absolutely.

I think Drew is in the worst position. I think a lot of people in the house don’t like him right now.

Going back a little. When the icons first came into the house, what was your reaction?

I didn’t know who Dee and Devens were. I didn’t really like that there were Survivor players there. I kind of felt like it gave people who watched Survivor an advantage, and I didn’t really think that’s in the nature of the show. I think the only advantage should be if you watch Big Brother. So I didn’t know their gameplay. I didn’t know if they were loyal to their allies. I didn’t know if they were honest, but some people did. I love Angela. It was really cool to meet her, and I do like them also, the Survivor players, I just didn’t know who they were, but it was definitely at first, I was very intimidated by them, and then to be put on the block by one of them first week made that even more intimidating.

I feel the same way Mallory does about having Survivor players on the show! Let Survivors' players stay with the show Survivor.
