How ‘The View’ Stars Are Spending Summer Break
The View has been on hiatus for over two weeks now as the show’s cohosts and creatives enjoy the summer break before the landmark Season 30 premieres this fall.
Though there’s already been some drama over the potential lineup for Season 30 — that is, whether certain former hosts will return for the milestone running or not — no changes to the core lineup of the cohosts have yet been announced.
So, what have the series’ regulars been up to while on this extended break? Here’s a look at how the cohosts of The View have been spending their summer so far.
Whoopi Goldberg
Whoopi Goldberg wasted exactly no time heading back to one of her favorite places, Italy, after Season 29 concluded.
This time, it wasn’t for an Italian soap opera or fashion show, but rather, she helped to unveil a Whoopi-inspired bust of Medusa created by artist Jago in Capri.

Goldberg has also been hard at work promoting her clothing brand, IWBC, and supporting the stars of the off-Broadway Whoopi Monologues.
In a rare media appearance, Goldberg was also the guest of Keke Palmer‘s podcast and shed some light on her career choices (and The View salary).
Sara Haines
Sara Haines has also been in go mode during her off time. Haines headed back to Iowa, where she’s from, to spend a little time with her family and friends and shared some fun snaps from the trip.

Haines later revealed she was highly emotional about making the trip because the summer break “gets very busy very fast,” but she needed to immerse herself in the familiar.

Joy Behar
Joy Behar might be off duty at The View, but she’s still working during her break. She took the stage alongside Judy Gold for a Provincetown Town Hall and will soon debut her new play, Bonkers in the Buroughs, running from September 2 to September 6 at Bay Street Theater. All the while, her other show, My First Ex-Husband, has continued to run performances after The View‘s finale.
Ana Navarro
Ana Navarro immediately began spending her break catching some rays back in Miami with her friends.

After that, she began a jet-setting adventure that took her to Greece, “the place that makes [her] happy, happy, happy” … even if she got cursed out by a cab driver along the way.

Sunny Hostin
Like some of her colleagues, Sunny Hostin has been enjoying some time away from the Big Apple during her break.
For her big trip, she headed to Las Vegas for AKA Boule with her sorority sisters in Alpha Kappa Alpha.

Alyssa Farah Griffin
Last, but certainly not least, it looks like new mom Alyssa Farah Griffin has been getting some much-needed rest and relaxation after returning to the show from just two months of maternity leave after the birth of her baby boy, Justin Griffin Jr.
Griffin has shared some adorable snaps of her family out and about, including the little one.
