Rosie O’Donnell Sends Blunt Message to Jesse Watters: ‘Stay Out of My Orbit’

Rosie O’Donnell warned Fox News anchor Jesse Watters to stay away from her after she claimed she was accosted by his crew when exiting her car earlier this week.

The former View co-host took to her TikTok on Thursday (August 6) to address the situation, saying, “Here’s what I want to say to Jesse Watters and his gang of unruly reporter yellers at the theater today. No, I don’t want to speak or answer a question from Jesse Watters.”

O’Donnell is currently in New York City starring in her one-woman Off-Broadway show, Common Knowledge, at the Daryl Roth Theatre. The show’s limited run is set to conclude on Saturday, August 8.

In the caption of the post, O’Donnell stated, “Today a Fox crew was waiting for me to exit the car – they ran in mass screaming JESSE WATTERS WANTS TO TALK TO YOU – so what? – I have no desire to talk to him or Fox (we lie to Americans) “News” – so say what you need and go the f*** away.”

“I’ve never watched Jesse Watters, and I don’t ever care to,” the A League of Their Own star continued in the accompanying video. “I’ve read enough about what he’s said about women and who he is and how his career began on The Bill O’Reilly Show, of all places.”

She added, “OK, Jesse, you do what you do, stay out of my orbit. If you wanna interview me, call my publicist, that’s how it works, don’t you know that yet? I’m not afraid of you, I just have no interest in you in any capacity.”

O’Donnell further discussed her issues with Watters in the caption, citing a quote he made on The Five about former Vice President Kamala Harris. Ahead of the 2024 presidential election, Watters said Harris would get “paralyzed in the Situation Room while the generals have their way with her.” He later said his comments were misconstrued and not intended to be sexual.

“What woman would want to talk to him besides MAGA cult ladies?” O’Donnell concluded her post.

O’Donnell has been back in the news this week as she gears up to guest-host Jimmy Kimmel Live! the week of August 17. She also teased a return to The View as a guest for its upcoming 30th season, though the show’s executive producer said invitations have not yet gone out.
