‘The View’ Hosts Cut Off Marjorie Taylor Greene Amid Tense Argument
Marjorie Taylor Greene was the featured guest of Tuesday’s (July 7) very eventful episode of The View, and things were not nearly as friendly as they have been in the past. In fact, the former congresswoman was cut off during a particularly heated dispute with the cohosts.
Whoopi Goldberg started things out on a somewhat awkward note by saying it was “a mix of strange bedfellows” that brought the cohosts together with Greene, a former MAGA star and Donald Trump loyalist who has since turned on the president and the party, again.
Then, Joy Behar got the first question and lobbed a softball at Greene, asking her for her opinion on the White House posting about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s wedding instead of addressing the affordability crisis.
“Well, first of all, congratulations to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. I thought it was fantastic, and I think it’s absolutely absurd for the 80-year-old president of the United States to attack one of the most popular musicians and talented women who’s so generous to her staff and takes care of them,” Greene said.
“He thinks he’s more popular than her. Didn’t he say that this weekend?” Behar said.
“I think that’s why he’s always picking on her, because he would like to be. But let’s talk about her. Her concerts turn out massive amounts of people, a lot more than, tragically, the state fair, and I think that says a lot,” Greene agreed, earning a laugh from the audience.
Then, Alyssa Farah Griffin asked about Greene’s potential plans to launch a third party, and Greene said, “Actually, I think the future of America, and most Americans are very much angry with both parties, and let’s look at the Republican and Democrat establishment. Basically, the Mitch McConnells, the Chuck Schumers— all of these that have been in power for decades have brought us to $40 trillion in debt. Americans pay massive amount of taxes, but yet our dollar has lost so much value. In 2020, $100 was [worth] $186, and so the future, I think, for a third party or candidates that don’t belong in the two silos of Republican and Democrats are going to be candidates that work for the best interests of Americans.”
That’s when things started to go off the rails, as Behar challenged, “But Trump’s the one who keeps making money.”
“Oh, he’s making money, all right,” Greene replied, before adding, “I was one of the loudest voices attacking Hunter Biden for what I perceived to be corruption while his father was president, but I was really blown away. Most people are blown away. Even Fox News had something to say about it. That’s pretty shocking. This is why Americans are really sick and tired of both parties. We’ve just seen it over and over and over again.”
“You keep saying both parties. Hunter wasn’t in office. Why do you keep saying both parties?” Behar snapped.
After defending her position, Greene then agreed that Trump is making a lot more money than Biden’s family ever did.
Things got especially tense during the next question, as Sunny Hostin asked MTG to talk about her opinions on Graham Platner’s accusers.
“I don’t know anything about his policies. I just started learning about him yesterday when I saw this blow up. However, I do know what establishment political hit jobs look like, and I really wish women, when a woman is raped, it’s extremely serious, and I stand behind women that are raped. I ended my political career on that, by the way, and I wish women would come forward. The most important thing a woman can do is come forward and report a rape, not report it years later when someone is running for office,” Greene said to start the conversation
Hostin then asked her to clarify comments Greene made on social media, saying the former congresswoman had “accused Platner’s accuser of doing quote ‘rape for politics’ end quote, stating that she had consensual sex with him years ago.”
When Greene then denied that she accused the woman of such a thing, adding, “I wish you’d put my — if you put my deleted tweet…”
“We have it,” Hostin then said defiantly.
“Put it up, please. I just want to make sure my words aren’t twisted,” Greene said.
Hostin then asked producers to show the message on the screen, and when that wasn’t possible, she demanded her phone to pull up the full message.
While they waited on either request to be fulfilled, the conversation continued to become increasingly tense, as Hostin explained, “As a former sex crimes prosecutor, it is the most under reported crime in our country, because women are not believed, and because it is very difficult for them to do it right.” She concluded to ask, “I want to know why you would post that and accuse her of rape for politics.”
“Well, I would like to know why you wouldn’t put up my actual post because I wasn’t accusing her,” Greene argued.
Then, when she got her phone, Hostin read out the full language of Greene’s message. “Your exact quote was, ‘If you were raped or sexually assaulted, reported immediately. Don’t wait for years later until the man runs for office to go to news outlets to tell your story, and if you have consensual sex with him years ago, don’t turn it into rape for politics with conflicting stories.'”
Greene then argued that those were separate comments, and Hostin challenged her to explain the statement.
“I posted that because I support women who have been raped or sexually assaulted, and I want them to have justice… Then, secondly, don’t wait until they’re running for office. We need to know early on,” Greene said. “I was warning the public, OK?… I’m saying the public needs to be warned, because rapists need to be, they need to be convicted.”
Greene then agreed that it’s “not the woman’s fault,” but added a pointed caveat that took aim at Hostin for her controversy over American flags in people’s yards, saying, “Just like it’s not Americans with flags in front of their houses’ fault, and it should not be a problem.”
The conversation continued to accelerate in acrimony when Alyssa Farah Griffin asked her about a tweet implying AIPAC was involved in the Platner allegations, and it got so tense that Behar had to stop the discussion altogether.
“We’re out of time,” Behar said.
“Ya’ll should have had me for the whole show,” Greene exclaimed.
“Well…. No,” Behar said before asking her final question of what she would say to Trump if he called her today.
“I have no interest in talking to President Trump,” she said, before confirming she was moving on with a new podcast.
“Well, the old podcast routine,” Behar said, glibly.
“Well, yeah, you guys talk for a living, at least I went and gave it my best try and served in Congress,” Greene countered.
“Well, here’s the thing, we’re all giving our best try,” Goldberg said to end the discussion. “Everybody. You, us, everybody who’s trying to figure out, ‘How do I get through this to make sure my family gets what they need?’ So, we’re all giving it our good college try.”

Wondering why Alyssa and Joy ask questions, if they don't want to allow one to answer! The constant interruptions and talking over the guests. Thankfully Sarah wasn't there, she would have teamed up with them as well. The truth hurts.

There’s nothing more that they love than to gang up on someone and try to humiliate them. Navarro was actually mad that they couldn’t get to JD Vance ! She said afterward: He disarmed us by being nice and affluent. How ridiculous is that ? Mad because someone treated you nice ! But that’s how their warped minds operate. They are so TDS riddled, filled with bitterness and hate. They Enjoy humiliating people who disagree with them. In no particular order Behar, Navarro, and Hostin are the most vocal. They try hard to pick fights. They don’t want honest, constructive, and reasonable dialogue. Their whole scheme is to Attack ! And their audience loves it better than good biscuits with good gravy ! So these “ladies” give the audience what they want. Attack and humiliate anyone with a different point of view than theirs. I don’t feel sorry for MTG. She cozied up to them, now as typical they’ve turned on her. It’s how they roll.

This is the second time in an article about the view. That Whoopi try’s to portray herself as just the average earning blue collar worker ! In another article on here in the recent past she was complaining about Trump as usual and said: Here we are working our butts off and……
Um NO !! Whoopi wouldn’t know Real work if she tripped over it ! Do a search on her net worth And her salary from this show. To sit around with a cup of coffee bash on other people in particular Trump and try to be witty. Oh Whoopi I feel so bad for you. You have such tough going. Back from vacation in Sicily I’m sure you’re just worn weary from your back breaking job ! That’s the thing right there, her and the other dragon ladies are clueless ! Trump Knows what many working people have to go through. In particular in construction. His children have spoke about how they had to do the hands on work on many of the blue collar folks when they were out of school for the summer. In the past going to a baseball game with some other wealthy people. Trump stopped and showed them errors in the building of the stadium. They were amazed at the knowledge he had of fundamental things that most wealthy folks wouldn’t know. That’s because Trump’s father made Him work with the blue collar people when he was first preparing to enter the business world on his own. Bash all you want yo but Trump knows construction work from the ground up. Whoopi is a has been actress long past her famous time. Now she’s just clueless.

clearly, when she was stating treacherous truths about lawmakers (94-96% of congress) who are systemically getting mega donations from AIPAC, & our necessity to stop the ISL1st operatives of controlling our government (a sick phenomenon many American Jews are against btw),
they were ordered to stop her/stop it all. ABC runs by a multi billionaire who contributes greatly to the IOF. their zio director is his assignment. dry facts became “tropes”.
