- This project continues their ongoing efforts to revitalize small-town America through partnerships with U.S.-based companies.
Home Town stars Erin and Ben Napier celebrated the Fourth of July by announcing an exciting new project.
In a joint Instagram post, the couple revealed they’ve teamed up with Randolph USA, the Massachusetts-based sunglasses manufacturer. “America didn’t build its legacy overnight. Neither did we. Something new, forged in 250 years of craftsmanship, is coming,” the caption read.
The post also included a video featuring the HGTV fan favorites meeting with Randolph Eyewear designers, along with footage of the glasses being made. Each pair of the hand-crafted glasses will bear Erin and Ben’s names for a new collection coming soon.
“We’re Erin and Ben Napier, and we are makers and designers in Laurel, Mississippi,” Erin says in the video. “Randolph is making glasses that tell part of the American story.”

“They’re made in America, so there are multiple people who are putting food on their table because of the sunglasses I’m wearing on my head,” Ben adds.
He continues, “The reason Erin and I care so much about American manufacturing; it’s not about money, it’s not about politics, we’re more than ten years into this. It is 100 percent about that human connection.”
“I see enormous pride when I see an American flag,” Erin adds. “My eyes well up with tears because I think my grandfather is in there, and what he experienced in World War II, to make sure that when I saw the flag, I felt freedom and not fear.”
“It’s an extremely patriotic moment for me and my family,” Ben says. “To be a part of it is just unbelievable.”
Erin and Ben have previously discussed their support for American manufacturing. The couple partnered with the Virginia-based furniture company Vaughan-Bassett to create “a cottage-inspired furniture line.”
“After the launch of HGTV’s Home Town, we were approached by overseas companies for furniture line development with national distribution,” Erin explained. “Growing up in North Carolina, Ben remembered the small factory towns that had been shuttered and left empty when manufacturing moved overseas. Thinking of the countless, American families who suffered in the aftermath, we knew there had to be a better way to make furniture.”
She added, “If we’re going to be serious about revitalizing small town America, we have to be serious about making things in America.”
