‘President Curtis’: Everything We Know About the ‘Rick & Morty’ Spinoff
The Rick and Morty universe grows larger with the premiere of a new spinoff series, President Curtis, later this month. Said Michael Ouweleen, president of Adult Swim, “We can’t wait for everyone to see how great President Curtis is on his own when the series premieres next month!” as Adult Swim unveiled the new series at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival in late June. Below, we’re breaking down everything we know about President Curtis before the big premiere.
When does President Curtis premiere?
President Curtis will debut on Adult Swim on Sunday, July 26, at 11:30p/10:30c, which is right after the Season 9 finale of Rick and Morty airs on the network. Episodes will then become available to stream the next day on HBO Max.
Who stars in President Curtis?
In the new series, Keith David reprises his longtime Rick and Morty role as President Andre Curtis. Plus, Stephanie Beatriz and Jim Rash star as a by-the-book Chief of Staff Banks and the bad-boy Special Agent O’Doyle, respectively, and Dan Bakkedahl and Kelsey Scott star in undisclosed roles.

What is President Curtis about?
Though Rick Sanchez is known in the Rick and Morty universe for tackling all sorts of phenomena, even he has limits. The official description for the series tells us, “The series follows President Andre Curtis and his eccentric staff as they tackle the kinds of crises that Rick Sanchez could never be bothered with — from interdimensional diplomacy to paranormal investigations and unexplained phenomena.”
Who makes President Curtis?
President Curtis is cocreated by Dan Harmon and James Siciliano, both executive producers on Rick and Morty. The two also serve as executive producers on President Curtis alongside Danielle Uhlarik, Monica Mitchell, and Steve Levy.
