‘Bold and the Beautiful’ Star Annika Noelle Explains Hope’s Shocking New Move

It’s a moment fans of The Bold and the Beautiful have been waiting for: On Friday, June 26, Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) is finally unveiled as the creative force behind Logan’s new fashion designs.
For weeks, Hope has been forced to remain hidden whenever someone unexpectedly walks into Katie Logan’s (Heather Tom) office, where she has been secretly working behind the scenes. The recurring gag has provided some welcome comic relief amid the drama. “I feel like Hope needed a settee in the back there and a little snack table, some drinks,” Noelle quips. “But any chance they allow us the opportunity to have those lighter moments, I will happily jump at that. I feel like that’s been really fun.”

The moment of truth comes after years of turmoil for Hope at Forrester Creations. In 2024, after Hope was fired by her longtime rival, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, she found herself at a crossroads. Encouraged by Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor), Hope joined him in orchestrating a hostile takeover of the family company. When a guilt-ridden Carter ultimately returned control to the Forresters, Hope was left to absorb much of the fallout, and her signature fashion line, Hope for the Future, remained sidelined.
That experience set the stage for Hope’s latest career move. More recently, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) and Katie Logan Spencer launched a new fashion house, Logan. After Eric Forrester (John McCook) briefly signed on to design for the company before returning to Forrester Creations, Bill and Katie turned to Hope. Frustrated by her treatment at Forrester and eager for a fresh start, Hope accepted the opportunity, and brought in her brother, Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone), to create a new collection under the Hope by Logan banner.

For Noelle, the story reflects the cumulative impact of years of professional and personal setbacks for her character. “I personally feel like Hope has lost her sparkle a little bit,” she observes. “I think she’s really become kind of disempowered, and with the demoralization that’s happened at Forrester, she’s kind of lost her confidence and her strength. I think she’s come to self-doubt so much after what’s happened in the past two or three years, and you can really see that spiral occurring in the lead up to her leaving with all of the vacillation back and forth and her indecision and her mini panic attacks.”
Making that decision even harder was Hope’s deep personal connection to Forrester. Not only is it the company where she built her career, but it’s also where her mother, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), has long worked. “Brooke is the only reason she hasn’t cut bait sooner,” points out Noelle. “I truly believe that if it didn’t involve hurting her mother’s feelings and that need for her mother’s validation, she would have left much sooner, especially after the way she was treated after the fallout of the coup. All the blame got lumped on her, and she was the lightning rod for that, even though it was not her idea to begin with.”
Beyond her ties to Brooke, the company also represents years of milestones and growth for Hope. “I do think the only thing that has a hold on her is the nostalgia and the memories and the fact that it has played such a big role in her development,” adds Noelle. “Many chapters of her life have had Forrester as the backdrop, so I think the reason she’s having such a hard time letting go is the significance of what that place means to her. I think Hope was also kind of stuck in that place a lot of us can relate to, ‘Well, at least I know this and at least it’s familiar and at least it’s comfortable,’ versus venturing into the unknown and taking that risk and betting on yourself. But I think the real thing holding her back is her fear of the retribution of what the fallout might be with her mother, as well as having to let go of the past a little bit.”

Now that Hope has finally taken that leap, Noelle has relished the opportunity to explore a new side of her alter ego and interact with other corners of the canvas. “It’s been really fun,” she enthuses. “Also, how amazing is it to have Shauna [Fulton, Denise Richards] and Wyatt [Spencer, Darin Brooks] back again? I am so excited about this dynamic and getting to play these scenes at Logan when it’s Wyatt and Liam [Spencer, Scott Clifton] and Bill and Katie, with everyone present. I’ve never had a chance to really play at length with these characters before, so for me as an actor, it’s really fun to get to be a part of a different environment myself. I’m really excited about that, as well as the new sets! We’re going to have a really fun fashion show in store for us.”
That fashion show, airing Friday, marks Hope’s official debut as Logan’s creative director. The reveal may be dramatic, but Noelle feels it will also be the beginning of a new chapter for Hope. “I’m really hoping that this is going to mark an emergence for Hope, of finding her own voice again,” shares Noelle. “Katie’s kind of shepherding that along, and how much of that is Katie’s own kind of self-interest, I don’t know, but I’m choosing to believe she’s trying to help Hope grow a little more and to really come into her own.”

As the fashion show gets underway, Hope finds herself wrestling with conflicting emotions. “It’s a really mixed bag of feelings,” previews Noelle. “Her anxiety is at an all-time high. While she is very proud of this collection and what she and her brother have created, and doing something for her aunt and her family, it’s a very polarizing place for her. In one aspect, she’s so proud and finally feels like she’s setting out on her own, but at the same time, she knows that this is a huge betrayal, and she’s terrified about the fallout. Instead of it being a completely joyous occasion, with the way they went about it, there’s going to be some fallout, but she thinks the risk is worth the reward.”

I really understand how she feel and Brooke gets on my nerves how she does Katie. Katie deserves better Brooke always puts her down so happy that that Katie finally got from under her shell and decided to do something and also proud of Hope. Maybe she should have told her mom but maybe not cause Katie wanted it to be a secret so Forester somewhat deserved it. They just got served on seeing how it feels. Katie and Hope deserved better and they just got it.

I love AN and how she plays Hope! A terrific actress! She gives the show, who has become rather bland, more depth!

I couldn't believe that Brooke was allowed to just barge in Katie's office and said that she wasn't going to leave until she learned who their designer was or that she was going to search the building until she found the designer. Really??? It's none of her business! She should have been thrown out by security. Katie should then have issued a tresspass warning especially after the way Brooke has treated her

I can't stand her character. She is such a whiner and think they world owes her something. She creates absolutely nothing, and with everyone else creating designs, yet she takes all the credit. Same for Katie. I am actually hoping for a huge fail of their endeavor. She deserves to pay the price for sheer deception and drama she always seems to create. I hate the way she feels entitled

If they'd just had Hope tell her mother about her decision to leave the company, and why she was doing it, like a lot of people in real life would, there wouldn't be the anxiety and fall out and damage to her relationship with her mother. Instead they're making the character look like she has no moral compass. Who would purposely lie to and hurt their mother like that, a mother they currently have a good relationship with? It's plot-driven, not character-driven, seemingly for shock value. A discussion with Brooke on why she was leaving could have been interesting and keeping in line with who they've shown the character of Hope to be (i.e., a decent person who wouldn't want to destroy her relationship with her mother).

When Brooke slapped Katie, that was the final straw! The writers are doing a great job of making you hate Brooke, but I have been there for a while now. Hope absolutely rocked her runway debut!!!!! Look forward to Brooke and Stephanie’s meltdowns!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow! Didn’t think it would happen…they actually let Hope have her moment. Fully expecting a kidnapping, Katie collapsing on the runway due to illness stopping the show, someone stealing the diamond, etc. ok, Done! Yes, I can stop tuning in, change the channel, and I have now. I also have a right to an opinion. Just cancel this nonsense of a show. No interest in what happens next with worries about what mommie will do, why families are obsessed with who people work for, that the new lumberjack Will, who has absolutely no talent in fashion can’t understand that another company might also have a jewelry line since his girlfriend, who also has no talent and was given her job for no reason…That one note Sheila might be good or bad (she Is a fantastic bad character), etc., etc. Don’t worry—these same story lines will not have inched forward in June 2027. There. Enjoy. And remember, everyone has a right to an opinion!

Waiting for Wyatt and Hope to reconnect! They were great together when they were a couple. Love seeing Wyatt back!!

I'm so tired of the Forrester. Why does everyone close their eyes when the Forrester do wrong. Poor Will and Katie. I hope things gets better for them otherwise I'm done with this show. I've watched this show when it first started.
