A new group of competitors will soon be hitting the road on a new season of The Great Food Truck Race.

The Food Network competition series will return for its 19th season later this summer. Hosted by Tyler Florence, the show follows teams of food truck owners as they showcase their culinary skills across the country in hopes of winning a cash prize.

Food Network announced the show’s return as a part of its jam-packed July lineup. In addition to the new season of The Great Food Truck Race, the channel’s July schedule includes new series such as Guy’s Grocery Games: Global Games, Kitchen Chaos, Pitmasters, Restaurant Impossible: Last Call, and Kitchen Undercover.

Fans shared their excitement for the show’s return on Food Network’s Instagram page. “Fav!!! Can’t wait!!” one user wrote underneath the June 24 upload. Another added, “Let’s GET ROLLINNGGGG!” Someone else shared, “You can’t go wrong with Tyler and his Trucks.”

When does Season 19 of The Great Food Truck Race premiere?

The series will return to Food Network on Sunday, July 26, at 9/8c. New episodes will stream the next day on HBO Max.

What will happen on Season 19 of The Great Food Truck Race?

The new season will be a “battle of savory and sweet,” as four of Season 19’s teams specialize in sweet dishes, while the other four focus on savory bites.

“Host Tyler Florence will lead the route starting in Nashville and through the Great Smoky Mountains, stopping in cities with vibrant food scenes – all while adding unexpected twists and turns from the very first mile,” reads the season’s official description. “Every week, the teams must prove their cooking expertise, marketing savvy and selling skills in themed challenges to beat their rivals – and for the first time, the bottom two teams each week will go head-to-head in a taste redemption battle to see who earns the right to stay and who heads home.”

When will Season 19 of The Great Food Truck Race end?

“The season will culminate in an action-packed finale on Sunday, September 6th at 9pm from the legendary Churchill Downs in Louisville, where only one truck will be awarded a life-changing $50,000 grand prize,” the season’s description states.

(Thomas Lomanno, Dante Marino, and Lisa Bosteels) from Derry, New Hampshire, Grounds Donut House (Carmela Varotta, Gabriella Amoroso, and Stephanie Hill) from Bronx, New York, Hele Rolls (Brittany Lopez, Jasmine Milam, and Mari Wills) from Kapolei, Hawaii, Jollof Bowl (Ethel Kamara, Andrea Kamara, and Lekan Oketunji) from Baltimore, Maryland, Stuph’d Beignets & Burgers (Dionne Lewis, Duana Lawrence, and Sherman Clarke) from New Orleans, Louisiana, and Waffadilla (Shawn Peterson, Madison Peterson, and Gavin Mari) from Hampshire, Illinois.
