‘American Idol’s Hannah Harper Makes Major Career Move Amid Summer Tour

It’s been over a month since Hannah Harper won Season 24 of American Idol, and things are moving in the right direction for her career. After previously signing a record deal with 19 Recordings/Atlantic Records, she is now being represented by WME Group, a global talent agency.

“It’s a blessing to work alongside people who share the same goal: creating great music, serving others well and pointing people to Jesus along the way,” Harper said in a statement. “I immediately connected with Morgan Kenney’s vision, heart, and the way she champions the people she serves. I’m honored to be represented by WME and excited to see what doors this partnership may open. Grateful is an understatement.”

Kenney, one of her new agents, added, “I have tremendous admiration for Hannah. Her authenticity is rooted in her unwavering faith and strong family values. She possesses a rare combination of artistry, character,  and star power that resonates both on and off the stage. We are honored to welcome her to WME and look forward to helping build the next chapter of her already remarkable journey.”

Harper is already well on her way to building a big career. Her “String Cheese” tour kicked off earlier this month and she’s already booked several gigs opening for Brad Paisley and Lauren Alaina on their summer and fall tours later this year.

Having grown up singing in her family’s band, Hannah is no stranger to making and performing music, but American Idol has put her on a whole new platform. Signing with an agency like WME is the next big step!
