What To Know

  • Jimmy Kimmel and Jon Stewart mocked President Trump’s UFC Freedom 250 event at the White House.
  • Kimmel compared it to a MAGA rally and called it a “violent birthday party.”
  • Stewart ridiculed the event for devaluing both combat sports and national dignity.

Late-night hosts Jimmy Kimmel and Jon Stewart ripped into President Donald Trump‘s UFC Freedom 250 event on Monday (June 15), both comparing it to a Hooters.

“Speaking of MAGA rallies, we had a sporting event that didn’t bring people together this weekend,” Kimmel said on Monday’s edition of Jimmy Kimmel Live! “Donald Trump’s big violent birthday party, the UFC fight at the White House.”

The comedian said the event had “all the refinement and prestige of a Hooters at the Vatican,” adding that Trump “turned the White House into a Waffle House.”

“Historians are saying this is the first time in history an American president spent $60 million to publicly fellate himself,” Kimmel continued. “I would also add that Trump knocked down the east wing of the White House and wants a billion dollars because he needs to have a safe place to throw parties. Meanwhile, no problem throwing a giant 80th birthday cage match on the front lawn of the White House.”

After showing footage of one of the UFC fighters yelling from the Truman balcony, Kimmel quipped, “What a night. Like a mini January 6th.”

Stewart also blasted the event on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show, saying, “What a god-awful mockery of an event that somehow managed to find a way to devalue both combat sports and our national dignity. Who even aired this embarrassing s***?!”

After realizing the event was streamed on Paramount+ (Comedy Central is owned by Paramount), Stewart mockingly backtracked, saying, “And what a fine event it was. Once again, the leaders of Paramount+ providing us all with incredible content at reasonable prices. I am proud to stand with the Paramount family and whatever shows they decide to either cancel or put on.”

“You know, the average American they don’t want their White House to stand for certain morals and values,” he added. “The regular people in this country want their president to live in a slightly more violent Hooters, or a slightly less violent Waffle House.”

"This event is about celebrating America's unmatched greatness after 250 years - which apparently doesn't sit well with the friendless loser who wrote this bullsh--clickbait headline." That was the White House response to The Weather Channel's site with this headline: "Rain, 30 MPH Winds, and mosquitos on the White House lawn". That was that site prediction of what was going to happen at Trump's birthday celebration with the UFC Fights taking place there. All it did was make an observation of what to watch for during the event. Nothing to do with wanting to (figuratively) rain on someone's parade concerning a World Leader's personal celebration. Jeez!

I loved the way Kimmel compared the way Fox News covered Trump's 80th birthday to that of Joe Biden's, using happy music for T and sad violins for B!

Were you disappointed that the FBI discovered a plot from 24 people planning on launching drones in two waves attacking the event ? Sixteen people have been arrested thus far. You Might not have even seen that on Fake News MSM ? Have they talked about it ?

I saw the article on The Right Scoop. I'm glad it was stopped. That's all I have to say.

The Right Scoop is not a valid news site. Full of conservative opinions and even some wrong thinking rhetoric. If a conservative minded person wants a place to escape most of the left thinking that’s a place to go. But just like This site there’s allot of just Opinion there not necessarily facts. People on the Left listen to every thing Kimmel and Stewart say and take it as fact. People on the right have their conservative mouth pieces to. These are a large part of the country’s problems.

I can at least agree with your last sentence. I wish TRS hadn't banned me but I'm glad to see many commenters disagreeing there when I read them.

Well understand I’m talking about Both Right & Left sites that operate on the basis of opinion not necessarily founded in facts. I think Both are mutually wrong in many cases. And as I’ve said before I don’t agree with every single thing Trump says and does. And I would Hope that most people on the Left felt the same way about Biden and Obama. When we agree with Everything a President says and does that’s dangerous ! Regardless of political party.

Fox News what you folks call faux news showed how several Democrats are rooting for Foreign countries to win against the USA in the World Cup. What patriotic Americans they are ! Has Fake News MSM had any coverage on that ?

250 years of American greatness and exceptionalism. Yet we see numerous times people on the Left burning and spitting on our flag while flying the flags of foreign countries and standing on US soil the whole while. Recently at the ICE protests in Newark they were flying a Hammer & Sickle Red Communist flag. Fox shows these things with the video clips. Does Fake News MSM even report on these situations ?

I wonder if Kimmel is even mentally Capable of doing a show without bashing on Trump ? I don’t think he is.
