‘McBee Dynasty’: Allie Eklund Talks Joining Season 3 After She Initially ‘Turned Down’ Offer

The McBee Dynasty returns with its third season on Monday, June 15, and viewers will be introduced to a new cast member, Allie Eklund, in the premiere episode. Allie joined the cast of the Bravo series amid her relationship with Steven McBee Jr., which has since ended.

“I actually turned down [other reality shows] multiple times,” Allie told TV Insider. “Even his request to join this show, I turned down 10 times, I believe.”

While Allie, who has been working as a content creator for a decade, said she’s “not afraid of the camera,” she was admittedly worried about “not having control over the edit” because it’s something she’s so unfamiliar with. “All of my friends have been on reality TV, so I learned from their experiences, but I have always chosen not to do it,” she added. “In doing this, it was more choosing to support someone that happened to be on reality TV. It was less about me and more about him, to be honest.”

Allie and Steven started dating in fall 2025, but split in April after very public drama. Below, Allie breaks down her McBee Dynasty Season 3 journey and looks forward to what’s ahead now that her relationship with Steven has ended.

Did you know Steven’s family had a show when you met?

Allie Eklund: Steven let me know that his family had a show and my priority was just getting to know him, honestly. Our first date was incredible, our second date was even better, and then our third and fourth … these were all off camera. We had a lot of alignment, I thought, at the time. Then he let me know he was going to be gone for three months filming the show, and I was like, “See you in three months then.” And he was like, “There’s no way I can let you go for three months. I need to keep seeing you and getting to know you.” I agreed. We had a really strong connection off the bat, and it happened to be filmed nationally.

How do you feel about the decision to film the show now?

I try to learn from everything in my life. I try not to regret anything and just always have forward momentum. At the time, I made the decision and I still stand by that decision that I made. Now I’m just navigating the future. My priority was supporting him and I stand by that decision, which I chose months ago. That happened to just include being on a show.

Not only are you getting to know him on the show, but the whole family. How did that go and who did you form the closest relationships with in the cast?

When you date me, you date my family, and Steven and I aligned on that. When you date Steven, you date his family. He has a wonderful family. I loved getting to know the family members. It tells me a lot about a person. I connected with everyone … all the brothers, the wives, his mom.

I got the chance to connect with his dad, as well, which was a huge part of the decision. We knew his dad was going away [to prison], but for how long, we weren’t sure of, so for those few weeks we had with him, connecting with him was a priority. I was getting to know the person who raised the person I was planning a future with. I can’t pick just one, honestly. I tried my best for about six or seven months to spend time with everybody across the board, and I have nothing but great things to say.

How did your family feel about you being on the show?

My family likes to keep things more private and they trust that they raised someone that can make decisions for themselves. They supported me from afar, not on camera. They supported me in my decision and they wanted the best for me. Steven promised to protect me. He promised them that he would protect me in this process and we all trusted that.

How involved did you get into the business and farm?

The family, they all work together. It was unique for me because I haven’t worked with my family in the capacity that they have. It was a learning experience for me to watch a family operate in so many businesses all together. A lot of it was listening, learning, and supporting where I could. Steven made it clear that he wanted his partner to provide that support and be involved in his life in every capacity, and that includes business, so he graciously wanted me there for it all. I also have a career and full-time job, so I supported him in the ways that I could, while also trying to maintain my own career. So you will see that play out on the show.

A lot has changed in your involvement with the family – how does that affect how you look back on the show and past times?

That is something I’m navigating. This is a unique experience for me. It’s the first time I’ve been in this position. I’m actively navigating it the best I can, staying true to myself and my character. I had love for everybody at one point and that love remains, it just happens to be at arm’s length now. I believe you can love someone and support them from a distance.

My decision is to move forward. I have no plans of getting back together with Steven. I still want the best for his family, his businesses. I made a commitment to his family and the show, and I’m someone that fulfills those commitments. I’m still navigating what exactly that looks like with all of the expectations and things that come with being on a show. I’m doing the best that I can. I have no plans to see Steven again or speak with him, but from a distance, I want the best for all of them.

What else are you looking forward to in the future?

I love that question. I have been creating content for about 10 years now. It started out as a hobby and is now grown into a fully operating business. I have a team of 15 amazing women behind me and I have a 90% female following. Although I’m posting clothing and beauty and all these things … I don’t think clothing’s going to change the world, but I’m very passionate that the women wearing the clothing will change the world, so my focus is them, honestly. Creating content for them, helping other people feel like the best version of themselves, that they can do anything that they set their mind to.

It starts with the little things. I have a lot coming up with brands I have been working with for years and really exciting things. It’s honestly what’s keeping me going. My focus is less on me. It’s on showing up and serving other people. That’s where I’ve shifted my focus, honestly, and that’s helped a lot.

I also have a lot of exciting things coming up with Triple E, which is my family’s ranch. We are expanding into Ace Hardwares, showing up as Triple E Mercantiles. Our grand opening for one of the biggest Ace Hardwares is in a month. Getting to work with my family and my sisters has always been the goal and a dream of mine, so I’m watching that play out now, which is very exciting. My family is keeping me going. They’re my number one support system.

Would you return to reality TV if the opportunity presented itself?

Never say never, I will say that. If someone pitched an idea for me and they had a vision, I’m always open to opportunities.
