Disney’s America 250 Special Sets Multi-Genre Array of Performers

As the United States of America nears the 250th anniversary of its birth, with the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, celebratory events are popping up all over the country, including one primetime special.

Disney is putting on a major televised event called Disney Celebrates America: Nashville’s Star-Spangled Bash for the big day, and we’ve gathered all of the details on how and when to watch, along with what to expect from the televised extravaganza.

When and where does Disney Celebrates America air?

The special will air live on Saturday, July 4, from 8/7c until 11/10c on ABC, Freeform, FX, and NatGeo. It will also stream on ABC News Live on Disney+ and Hulu as well as the ESPN app. The event will air live from Nashville, where thousands of guests are expected to gather for the event.

Who will host Disney Celebrates America?

The event is going to be hosted by Ryan Seacrest, who also hosts the company’s annual New Year’s Eve telecasts. Emily Ann Roberts will be a backstage correspondent, and comedian John Crist will report from the ground.
