Megyn Kelly Slams ‘Douche’ Seth Meyers & Jimmy Fallon’s ‘Attempt to Replace Colbert’
What To Know
- Megyn Kelly slammed late-night hosts Seth Meyers and Jimmy Fallon, calling Meyers a “f****** douche.”
- Kelly accused Meyers of hypocrisy for attacking her publicly after she had previously done a favor for his wife.
- She also criticized Fallon for venturing into political commentary.
Megyn Kelly took aim at the hosts of late-night on Thursday (May 21), calling Seth Meyers a “f****** douche” and saying Jimmy Fallon should stay away from political commentary.
On the latest episode of SiriusXM’s The Megyn Kelly Show, the former Fox News anchor was discussing the end of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, which aired its final ever episode on Thursday night. During the discussion, she shared her thoughts on some other late-night hosts.
Kelly had particularly strong words for Late Night host Meyers, whom she called a “jerk,” adding, “He was such an a**h*** when I was over at NBC, like, I couldn’t stand him.”
The former Today host said she once put Meyers’ wife on her show as a favor because she was involved in a charity initiative. “I said, ‘Sure, I’ll put her on,’ and then like, a couple months later, he was out there attacking me at the upfronts, where you make your pitch to advertisers.”

“Literally, he was out there making jokes about what a ‘racist’ I was,” she continued. “I’m sorry, but you’re just a d*** if you do that. Who would do that? If you don’t like me, or you think bad things about me, okay, no problem. We don’t have to like each other. Why would you ask me to do you a favor… and I did it… and then attack me publicly?”
Kelly added, “You’re such a douche. You’re such a f****** douche, sorry for my language.”
She then turned her attention to Fallon, whom she noted is “far less political than Seth Meyers.” However, after a segment that aired on Wednesday’s (May 20) Tonight Show, Kelly wondered if Fallon was “maybe starting to think he can fill the shoes of Stephen Colbert.”
Kelly played a clip from the Tonight Show, in which Fallon sang a song about Trump’s settlement with the IRS and his controversial DOJ-backed “anti-weaponization fund.”
After airing the abbreviation-filled song, Kelly responded, “Oh my god… That should’ve come with a viewer warning. I was recoiling. I disapprove on every level.”
Kelly’s guest, radio producer Stu Burguiere, also blasted the clip, saying, “That is the worst thing I’ve ever seen… I’m sort of angry at you, honestly, for even showing that.”

What a joke. Seth Meyers should be nice because Kelly but his wife on TV to promote a CHARITY? Not to promote herself of her business. Meyers has always been sharp-tounged politically. Fallon should not try to be too political, he doesn't have the chops for it.
