A Deep Dive Into ‘American Idol’ Winner Phillip Phillips’ Wife & Family

Phillip Phillips has released a new song called “Homesick,” which reflects how the American Idol Season 11 winner feels balancing his music career with his personal life. Though Phillips’ wife, Hannah Blackwell, is no stranger to the road, Phillips makes sure he can go home regularly to spend time with her and his growing family.

“Hannah toured with me for eight or nine years, so she understands it all, but [that] doesn’t make it any easier,” he told The Things We Love in 2024. “She’s been living the single mom life, especially for the last couple of years. So, I can’t thank her enough for everything she does, so I can [pursue] my dream. And I’m just really happy for her for chasing her dream, too, and figuring all that out. You have got to make it teamwork.”
