‘Finding Her Edge’ Author Reveals Season 2 Hopes & Book Sequel Status

“There’s a line in the show where Brayden says to Adriana, ‘You have to sell the fantasy,'” Finding Her Edge author Jennifer Iacopelli told Swooon. “When he said that, I was like, ‘Oh, they’re selling my fantasy.’ This is every author’s fantasy. The characters that I imagined up in my head are now somehow portrayed by real people.”

On January 22, 2026, the adaptation of Iacopelli’s teen skating novel Finding Her Edge, starring Madelyn Keys, Cale Ambrozic, and Olly Atkins, premiered on Netflix. By the next day, Season 1 of the series had already broken into the Top 5 of the streamer’s daily most-watched list.
