Classic 1980s Movies on TV This Week: January 19-25

The ’80s are back … well, back on TV, anyway! This week, tons of classic ’80s favorites are airing across cable and over-the-air channels, all day long! So no matter whether you spent that decade taking the highway to the Danger Zone with Tom Cruise, or cutting Footloose with Kevin Bacon, you’ll find something you love on the air this week.

Staring this Monday, you can look forward to screenings of the Dan Aykroyd/ Eddie Murphy comedy Trading Places, all three original Indiana Jones films, Molly Ringwald’s coming-of-age classic Pretty in Pink, some of the era’s best buddy cop films, like Lethal Weapon and 48 HRS, and a number of films that had recent remakes, including the original Arnold Schwarzenegger Running Man, the original Karate Kid, and the original Naked Gun.
