‘Emily in Paris’: Where Is Gabriel in Season 5? Lucas Bravo’s Absence, Explained

Emily (Lily Collins) has had her fair share of love interests throughout Emily in Paris, but Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) has been in the running since the beginning. Emily and her French chef haven’t had it easy throughout the past five seasons. When they finally got together in Season 4, they split after a few episodes. Their love for each other has always been there, and Gabriel took off for Rome to win Emily back by Season 4’s finale.

Though he does make it there at the beginning of Season 5, Gabriel removes himself from the equation once he sees Emily with her new beau, Marcello (Eugenio Franceschini).
