Kim Spradlin-Wolfe got her television start as a cast member (and eventual winner) of Survivor Season 24 in 2012. She then returned for the show’s Winners at War season in 2020 before launching her own HGTV series, Why the Heck Did I Buy This House?, in 2022.

The show ran for two seasons before concluding in 2024, with Spradlin-Wolfe explaining that she was choosing to prioritize her family over filming the show.
