During Wicked (Part 1), director Jon M. Chu peels back the curtain, revealing what happened behind the scenes during The Wizard of Oz. Beginning with Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo), better known as the Wicked Witch of the West, and Glinda the Good (Ariana Grande), meeting at Shiz University, the movie musical explores the witches’ complicated connection long before Dorothy lands in Oz.
