‘Tulsa King’ Season 4 Trailer Reveals a New Foe for Dwight Manfredi

Tulsa King Season 4

Tulsa King is finally returning for Season 4 in a matter of weeks, and now, a new trailer has been revealed (above) to give fans a taste of the action ahead.

After the third season of the Taylor Sheridan-verse crime drama paved the way for a new spinoff, Frisco King, and saw Dwight Manfredi (Sylvester Stallone) vanquish some of his enemies and leave others looming large, Season 4 looks to continue the drama with some new foils for the General.

Paramount+ has now revealed key details for Tulsa King Season 4, including its premiere date, first-look trailer, and more.

When will Tulsa King Season 4 premiere?

The new season will premiere on Friday, October 16, on Paramount+.

Who will star in Tulsa King Season 4?

In addition to Stallone returning to his role as the General, the season will also welcome back Martin Starr as Lawrence “Bodhi” Geigerman, Jay Will as Tyson Mitchell, Garrett Hedlund as Mitch Keller, Dana Delaney as Margaret Devereaux, Annabella Sciorra as Joanne Manfredi, Neal McDonough as Cal Thresher, Frank Grillo as Bill Bevilaqua, Chris Caldovino as Dennis “Goodie” Carangi, McKenna Quigley Harrington as Grace, Mike “Ca$h Flo” Walden as Bigfoot, Kevin Pollak as Special Agent Musso, James Russo as “Quiet Ray” Renzetti, and Scarlet Stallone as Spencer.

Joining the cast for Season 4 is actress Gretchen Mol, who will star as Amanda Clark, a Tulsa politician.

What will happen in Tulsa King Season 4?

The plot for Tulsa King Season 4 is described like so: “In Season 4, Dwight (Stallone) fights to legitimize his empire and protect his crew as corrupt politicians, dangerous new enemies, and a crushing personal loss hit from every direction. However, every hard-won gain comes with even harder truths: about loyalty, leadership, and the cost of ambition. Each move drags Dwight deeper into the street instincts he left behind in New York – turning Tulsa into a battleground and Dwight into the one threat no one can afford to underestimate.”

The series generally centers on former mafioso member Dwight Manfredi’s adventures leading a ragtag crew in Tulsa after being sent away by the New York crime family he once served. As his budding empire expands, he begins to court trouble from all sides — turf wars, legal woes, and family dramas included.

In the first teaser trailer for the season, we see Dwight being pulled over and attacked by someone pretending to be an officer before he laments, “It’s a dirty business, and everyone gets a little stained.” We then see that he and Bill will have a sit-down with Quiet Ray to hash things out, Tyson may be getting in over his head, and it looks like Mitch and Spencer might be getting closer than ever, too!

The trailer also shows that Dwight’s organization will face its biggest challenges yet, as he orders the crew to “go out and be creative” so he can “get it back.” That will bring him into direct conflict with a rap superstar and criminal who wants revenge against Dwight’s crew… for what, we’ll have to wait and find out!

What else is there to know about Tulsa King Season 4?

Variety reported that as the series headed into production for Season 4 in Atlanta in mid-November, more than two dozen crew members were let go from the show, and there was no distinct showrunner in place at this time. Instead, 101 Studios’ Scott Stone announced he would serve in that role. The report also noted that after Terence Winter exited the series after Season 1, the second season had no showrunner, and Dave Erickson took over in Season 3 before moving over to Mayor of Kingstown for Season 4.

However, Deadline later reported that Winter has been chosen to serve as showrunner for Season 4, executive producing alongside Sheridan, Stallone, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Thomas Kelly, Bob Yari, and Keith Cox.

Paramount+ has since confirmed that Winter is head writer and executive producer on Season 4. Taylor Sheridan, Sylvester Stallone, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Thomas Kelly, and Keith Cox also executive produce.

That is so incredibly rare these days. 3 seasons in 3 years is almost unheard of since 2020. So you don't watch any tv anymore then?

Only having 2.5 months of episodes airing every 9.5 months is not a series that I am interested in. There is too much time in between seasons and the anticipation is lost during that time.

So right, every character has been perfect! So surprised when they brought Samuel L Jackson into season 3. Nobody could have played that part better. Can’t wait to see him in the new spin off.

I’ll wait as long as I have to for a series with Stallone in it. But, I get what you’re saying. Having to wait a year for a series with only 10 episodes is a big ask. You’re right, most of the time you’ve forgotten what the show was about. If it’s a show I really love, like Tulsa King, before the next season starts I go back and watch the last episode of the previous season.

I love the humor that Stallone brings to the character.. He's really funny in this show. His character was very unexpected and so much more than I could have expected. Great job Stallone (and an awesome cast).

I can't still believe they cast 70 plus year old Dana Delany as Dwight's girlfriend, Margaret.

She had benn. Through so many botched faced jobs ans persistent rumors she is a lesbian, having never been married and no kids.

BAD CHOICE. Jennifer Stallone caster her as even Sly wouldnt go near her

    Jeffrey Paul Allison

Stallone is a better bad guy than he is a boxer, and that's hard to do
