2023 World Series TV Schedule: Rangers vs. Diamondbacks
Few could have imagined this Fall Classic matchup in the spring.
The American League champion Texas Rangers face the National League champion Arizona Diamondbacks in the 2023 World Series, with Game 1 on Friday, October 27, at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.
The No. 5 seeded Rangers defeated the Tampa Bay Rays in the Wild-Card Series, then took down the No. 1 seed Baltimore Orioles in the Division Series and ousted the defending champion Houston Astros in the ALCS.
The Diamondbacks were the lowest seed in the NL, but defeated the Milwaukee Brewers in the Wild-Card Series, blew out the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NDLS and then foiled the Philadelphia Phillies in the NLCS.
The Rangers made their only World Series appearances in 2010-11, and the club has never won a championship. The Diamondbacks won their lone championship in their only World Series appearance in 2001, defeating the New York Yankees 4-3.
Fox has complete coverage of the World Series, which would end on November 4 if all seven games are needed. Lead broadcasters Joe Davis and John Smoltz call the games with Ken Rosenthal and Tom Verducci reporting.
