Nickelodeon's animated TV movie ALBERT

Finally, the Charlie Brown Christmas tree isn't the only sad sap in the holiday-movie genre! This Friday, Nickelodeon decks the halls with Albert, its new Christmas tale about a less-than-majestic Douglas fir. But unlike the Peanuts gang's gangly twig, this little guy plans to become kind of a big deal by being named Empire City's star Christmas tree.

Starring SNL's Bobby Moynihan as the titular topiary, the CG-animated hour—which could totally be subtitled The Secret Life of Plants—also features Moynihan's costar Sasheer Zamata as Albert's palm-tree bestie Maisie, 30 Rock's Judah Friedlander as Gene the sarcastic weed and chronic guest star Rob Riggle (Son of Zorn, New Girl, Drunk History) as Cactus Pete.

It's super-cute family-friendly fare, complete with road-trip comedy, a heartwarming message and two original songs, including "The Best Thing That Could Happen to Christmas." And since this is the season of giving, we would like to present to you an exclusive first look at the ditty to help you get your jingle on.
