Special Agents Anthony DiNozzo and Kate Todd are together again … sort of.

Sasha Alexander, who played Kate for the first two seasons of NCIS, shared photos from the set of CBS’ Bull, starring Michael Weatherly, who played Tony until he left at the end of Season 13. “Reunited with this one…,” she wrote alongside a photo of the two of them sitting on a bed on Twitter. (She wrote a slightly different message alongside the photo on Instagram: “Reunited and it feels sooo goood.”)

Alexander then shared another photo, revealing that she’s directing an upcoming episode of the legal drama. This won’t be the first time the actress steps behind the camera; she previously directed episodes of Rizzoli & Isles (on which she played the medical examiner for seven seasons) and You.

Bull star Geneva Carr (who plays Marissa Morgan) also shared a look at Alexander on set. “What joy working under the direction of the FaBULLous @sashaalexander!!!” she wrote alongside the photo. See it below.

While Weatherly appeared in the JAG backdoor pilot episodes, Alexander came in in the NCIS series premiere, working a case with Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and Tony and then joining the team. She left at the end of Season 2, at which point Kate was killed off, and the team each saw a version of her as they dealt with their grief in the Season 3 premiere. In Season 8, a deleted scene of Kate and Tony from Season 2’s “An Eye for an Eye” was used as it was revealed the psychiatrist evaluating the team was Kate’s sister, Dr. Rachel Cranston (Wendy Makkena). And in NCIS‘ 200th episode, Gibbs imagined a few “what if?” scenarios, one of which saw Tony and Kate married and having a baby.

Alexander directing an episode comes as Bull heads into its final stretch of episodes. Weatherly announced the series would be ending with its current sixth season in January. The series finale is set for May.
