After a two-year hiatus, Starz‘s P-Valley is back — and with some new faces on board. Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist star John Clarence Stewart is joining the Season 2 cast in a recurring role alongside fellow additions Shamika Cotton (The Wire, The Equalizer) and newcomer Miracle Watts.

Stewart will play Big Teak, a gang member in Lil’ Murda’s (J. Alphonse Nicholson) Hurt Village Hustlas, who is adjusting to life on parole after being released from prison. “While the brothers attempt to bridge the chasm of time, Lil’ Murda’s growing fame provides unforeseen obstacles,” reads the character description.

Described as a “fighter and a biter with sky-high ambitions,” Watts’ Big Bone is a new addition at The Pynk strip club, while Cotton’s artist Farrah will form an “unlikely” connection with Mercedes (Brandee Evans), which will shake up her “unconventional marriage” with Coach.

This casting news comes after Psalms Salazar and Gail Bean were announced to be joining the new season as Whisper and Roulette, respectively. Other returning cast members include Nicco Annan, Elarica Johnson, Shannon Thornton, Parker Sawyers, Harriett D. Foy, Dan J. Johnson, Morocco Omari, Dominic DeVore, Tyler Lepley, Jordan M. Cox, and Skyler Joy.

Based on the play Pussy Valley from creator Katori Hall, the series follows the workers of The Pynk strip club and their lives in the Mississippi Delta. Hall also serves as showrunner and an executive producer with Dante Di Loreto.
