‘Snowdrop’: First Look at Blackpink Singer Jisoo in Disney+ Korean Original Drama (VIDEO)

Disney+ is giving viewers a first look at its new Korean Original drama, Snowdrop, which is officially available to stream with all 16 episodes on the platform now.

Snowdrop centers around a forbidden romance between a young couple that takes viewers on an emotional rollercoaster full of excitement, action, and romance. Taking on the role of Eun Yeong-ro is Blackpink singer Jisoo in her debut-starring performance.

Eun Yeong-ro goes against her family and country to help the man she loves, Im Soo Ho (Jung Hae-In). Meanwhile, Im Soo Ho is putting everything on the line to save the one thing he loves more than his country which is Eun Yeong-ro.

The pair meet when a blood-soaked Im Soo Ho bursts into a dormitory belonging to a women’s university in Seoul, Korea. Going against her better judgment, Eun Yeong-ro risks being expelled to hide the man from his attackers and tend to his wounds.

Little does she know, the man also has a harrowing secret that puts her friends and family at risk. Together, Eun Yeong-Ro and Im Soo Ho work together to overcome the obstacles that litter their path in order to be together.

All of this and more are teased in the trailer, below, for the series from writer Yoo Hyun-mi and director Jo Hyun-tak. The series is more mature for some, so subscribers with young children are encouraged to utilize Disney+’s PIN protected profiles that can limit some users on accounts from accessing content that is rated too mature for them.
