During Season 11, viewers have gotten to know Erika, a 37-year-old marketing director living in Connecticut, and Blake, a 38-year-old yacht captain whose job takes him all around the globe for months at a time. While they could agree on splitting time between adventuring and cozying up at Erika’s house in the pods, now that they’re back in Boston, the reality of their differing lifestyles may be too much to handle.

As of Episode 8, Erika and Blake are still going strong. They still follow each other on social media, which is always a good sign for reality TV couples. That said, while Blake appears to currently be in the Aeolian Islands off the coast of Italy, Erika attended a Patriots game with most of the Love Is Blind Season 11 cast. In the comments on her post at the game, Blake wrote, “WHAT A WOMAN 🚀🧨,” so at least we know they’re on good terms today.

When it comes to the rest of the episodes, we’ll have to wait and see whether Erika and Blake actually make it down the aisle. That said, an old connection from the pods may interfere with their plans. During the promo for the next episodes, Blake tells Benita Paloja, “It meant something to me that you left. I think you deserve the world.”

Blake connected with both Erika and Benita in the pods, but Benita decided to leave before he could make a firm decision. She told him, “Whenever I envisioned getting married. I always envisioned it with someone who had zero doubts about me, and there was never another woman. I can’t— I can’t handle this.”

The biggest tension yet between Blake and Erika has been caused by their differing lifestyles. While Blake would feel too tied down living with Erika in Connecticut, she would feel untethered traveling the world with him for long periods of time. Looks like Blake may not be willing to compromise, as he brashly asked in the promo for the next episode, “Some women might think summer in Europe is a nice thing to do. Am I f**king crazy for thinking that?”
