Love Is Blind is heading to Boston for the eleventh season, but one star has yet to meet anyone from Massachusetts who is worth her time. Meet skincare brand owner Jacqueline “Jax” Guelli.
Ahead of the new season of Love Is Blind, Netflix has revealed, “Jax is driven and can be quite particular, and so far, no New Englander has met her relationship standards.” She told the streamer, “This might sound bad, but I typically don’t like guys from Boston. I’ll date in other places, like New York, Miami … or Europe.”

Jacqueline “Jax” Guelli is headed to the pods, searching for a Bostonian who will finally catch her eye. She told Netflix, “I’m excited for the everyday — making coffee in the morning, going for a walk with my dog, grocery shopping, the small things.” While she hasn’t found love in Boston just yet, she has planted her roots in the New England city, with her adorable greyhound and the occasional foster dog. She also frequently travels, so maybe that’s why she has only found love elsewhere so far.

How old is Jax?
Jax is a 31-year-old Taurus, placing her in the younger half of the cast, whose ages range from 28-40.
What is Jax’s job?
Jax is the owner of Jax Skincare, which can be found in JCPenney and other locations. According to her LinkedIn, Jax started her brand in January 2017, so she’s about to launch into her tenth year as a business owner. She told Netflix, “I’m really proud of my business. It’s a huge part of me, so I need my partner to support that.”

Looking back at her career as an esthetician, which led to starting her own business, she told Boston Voyager, “I started my career in skincare at age 18. To me, it was a no-brainer. I always knew I would either end up in either the fashion or beauty industry. My mother is an esthetician, and my sister a hairdresser and business owner.”
Does Jax get engaged in the pods?
We’ll have to wait until October 14 to find out whether Jax gets engaged in the pods! Right now, all we know is that Jax is “typically drawn to ‘successful, older men’ who can provide stability: Her biggest fear when it comes to love is having the rug pulled out from under her. To maintain her footing in the pods, she plans to sidestep men who don’t know what they want.”
