Matt Gerald

Matthew Gerald is an American actor and screenwriter. He began his acting career appearing mainly in films, such as the Owen Wilson dramatic adaptation "The Minus Man" (1999), the Jeremy Blackman drama "Magnolia" (1999) and the Colin Farrell dramatic period piece "Tigerland" (2000). He also appeared in the Arnold Schwarzenegger box office smash action movie "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines" (2003) and "In the Mix" (2005) with Usher.

Gerald worked in television around the start of his acting career with a role on "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" (CBS, 2000-2015). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like the action flick "XXX: State of the Union" (2005) with Ice Cube, "Choke" (2008) and the Sam Worthington box office smash sci-fi picture "Avatar" (2009). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "NCIS: Los Angeles" (CBS, 2009-).

Recently, he tackled roles in "Elektra Luxx" (2011), the action picture "Red Dawn" (2012) with Chris Hemsworth and the Dwayne Johnson blockbuster action film "G.I. Joe: Retaliation" (2013).

He also worked in television during these years, including roles in "Hawaii Five-O" (CBS, 2010-) and "Grimm" (NBC, 2011-17). Gerald most recently acted in the Dwayne Johnson hit thriller "San Andreas" (2015).
