She won AP's Best Spot News Award for her coverage of a NY crane collapse. Tur was an embedded reporter for NBC News and MSNBC for the 2016 Donald Trump presidential campaign. In 2017, Tur was awarded the Walter Cronkite Award in Excellence in Journalism.
