Benjamin "Coach" Wade is a reality TV personality best known for his appearances on the CBS competition show "Survivor." He first competed on "Survivor: Tocantins" (Season 18) in 2009, where he became known for his eccentric behavior, elaborate storytelling, and his self-proclaimed identity as "The Dragon Slayer." A former symphony orchestra conductor and college soccer coach, Wade stood out for his theatrical flair and philosophical ramblings, often irritating or amusing his fellow castaways.
He returned for "Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains" (Season 20) in 2010 as a member of the Villains tribe, and again for "Survivor: South Pacific" (Season 23) in 2011, where he played a more calculated and leadership-driven game. In "South Pacific," he reached the Final Tribal Council but lost to Sophie Clarke in a 6–3 vote.
