Bad Company Headshot

Band

Members: Paul Rodgers, Simon Kirke

Bad Company is a British rock band formed in 1973, known for their bluesy hard rock sound and powerful vocals. The original lineup featured vocalist Paul Rodgers and drummer Simon Kirke, both from the band Free, alongside guitarist Mick Ralphs from Mott the Hoople and bassist Boz Burrell from King Crimson. Managed by Led Zeppelin’s Peter Grant, they became one of the first bands signed to Led Zeppelin’s Swan Song Records.

Their self-titled debut album in 1974 was a massive success, featuring hits like “Can’t Get Enough” and “Bad Company,” and cementing their place in rock history. Over the years, they went through various lineup changes, with Rodgers leaving and later reuniting, but their classic songs and sound have kept them a staple of classic rock radio.
